Countdown to busto....

for serefecheers. How long is he going to play TexasLimitKing HU?

It looks like Texas is always dominating. I mean, uh, unless he buys in for $150k every time they play.

Re: Countdown to busto....

hahahaha, so I opened FTP up to check if anyone was playing the big NL games. Looked at the stacks of TLK and serefe, then went and did some other things before starting a poker session.

I decide to open up the table to check it out... serefe is down to his last $700 on the turn of Axx7, Alex bets, serefe calls all in, shows A7, Alex shows JJ, river J, ship it!

"neverwin"
nah he was playing 500-1000 mixed games at commerce the other day so he's probably not busto just yet.

but that tall gold haired asian guy from hsp was playing 200-400 hold em and down to like $2000 in benjis and didnt appear to be rebuying.

in other commerce gossip ted forrest was playing 300-600 RT on the table next to me and took 20 or 30 from some guy and left. it wouldnt surprise me if over the next couple years we see more and more of the top pros playing at commerce regularly instead of bellagio.

Re: Countdown to busto....

Serefecheers has now played himself up to $73k at the table.

Current status: officially non-busto.

"why?"

LA is a nicer place to live. there is a LOT of dead money in LA because of hollywood and other $$$$. LA is the poker capitol of the world, there are more cardrooms then anywhere else. commerce cardroom is nicer, less crowded, nice easy going staff, easier parking, easier access to rooms. should i go on?

I get all that (I live here, too), but then why do they live fulltime in Vegas to begin with?

"why do they live fulltime in Vegas to begin with?"

they probably just claim lv fulll time for taxes.

they probably dont live in lv more than 6 months of the year.

Um, who are you talking about? I think most of the full-time highstakes Bellagio players live in Vegas when they are not on tour. Also, if taxes are the issue, why DOESN'T Barry claim to live in LV?

Used to live in LA, know I live in Vegas. Vegas is the most exciting place to live in the world. I cannot imagine ever living anywhere else. Best restaurants, shows, etc all minutes away.

And there is more dead money in Vegas than LA. Yes commerce is a better cardroom, but not as many tourist fish sitting down.
