From what I have heard, it is mostly 2+2ers there for the 100% rakeback. Whether that means it is good or bad depends on your perspective.

Re: whats the 100% rakeback site?

well im new to 2 plus 2 so whould you think that is good or bad?

Re: whats the 100% rakeback site?

I would say that the games would be tighter and more aggressive than the average poker site(not full of 2+2ers). If you are new to poker, this could end up being a bad situation for you. But, if you are a solid poker player, but just new to 2+2, it could be that 100% rakeback at WPEX is better than some/most rakeback options.

If it were me, I would sign up at a few rakeback sites in addition to WPEX. Then, I would put in a few thousand hands at each site over the course of a month to get a feel for the games and other things like hands/hour, interface, # of tables, game traffic at my limit etc, and go from there. Hope that helps.

The other good thing about that site is they are making the 12 tabling semi-bots running their heads up displays angry by the way they offer hand histories. This will be very good for the quality and fun factor of the games at the site. The 12 tablers on auto pilot don't like the fact that they will have to play real poker instead of just calling rasing and folding when their heads up display tells them too.

Other sites should follow wpex's groundbreaking lead and foil the 12 tabling semi-bots as well.

I doubt the poker sites would want to discourage people from playing on 12 of their tables at once.

Since we already have a thread devoted to rehashing stuff everyone already knows, I don't feel bad about asking things I should already know:

Is WPEX rakeback split equally among the players who were dealt cards or is it based on contribution to the pot?

If rakeback is based on contribution, is it proportional or divided equally among all players who contributed?

What is Aces Wednesday?

Thanks in advance.

Re: whats the 100% rakeback site?

Currently it's dealt-hand. Hope they don't change that.

Aces-Never-Lose Wednesday: If you lose with pocket AA you get paid by the site. You have to report the hand-history to support.
runs from midnight to midnight eastern every Wednesday.
Must take hand to showdown, must have 4 players dealt into the hand, must not try to abuse the promotion (by telling others at the table you have aces or something).

At 2/4 and 3/6 limit Aces-lose pays $25.
At 5/10 it pays $50.
It pays out at other stakes too and at no-limit. I only play 2/4 - 5/10 on WPEX though.

Seems like a lot of players know nothing about the promo and don't report their HH's to support.

Payment is usually right-away after they look at the hand-history...I usually get a response that I've been paid my aces-never-lose reward into my account within 30 minutes of sending the HH.

More details on the WSEX site under 'promotions'.

4th that. I've had success there. Win/Loss Percentage seems to be the same as other sites.

But then again, the site is targeted for the NFL degenerate like me. Why have bots when I win $$$ playing poker and I can give them the juice and losses from my Sunday and Monday Night Fix. Lol.

So, what HUD tells you when to call, fold, or raise? Mine just shows a bunch of stupid #s that don't help me to do [censored].

I'm wondering if OD has actually seen an HUD b4?
