Chocolate Chantilly cookies and Vanilla Chantilly cookies from Pepperidge Farm. I can't find any evidence they existed, but I remember them distinctly.

Jello Pudding Pops- They were great once you got throught the layer of ice on the outside. Maybe they still make them but they don't have them in AZ

i think zantigo was a great mexican chain. taco bell thought so too, so they bought them and halted their operations. lots of taco bells in the area, and now other businesses are operating in distinctive old zantigo buildings. the claim to fame was that everything on the menu was under a dollar. i've heard it's coming back in minnesota, but i'm not sure it's the same thing. my memories are from my childhood though, so perhaps it's skewed.

one thing that's NOT skewed is that taco bell is far, far worse because of the cheese the now use. the old stuff was thinly-shredded, and the texture/melting/non-melted pockets made all of the difference. i don't eat there often, but every time i do i'm reminded of how good it used to be.

Kellogg's <font color="brown">Chocolate</font> Frosted Flakes.

They reappeared briefly a few years ago on a couple of trips back to England and I would bring boxes back.

Sure were. I have a vivid recollection of seeing them at the store for 15 cents. Eating one of those chewy caramel and chocolate things now would probably remove my remaining teeth.

Astroglide: Zantigo has been back in MN for quite a while now. I think there are 3 or 4 around now. Went there once, ehh, it's ok I guess. Nothing special. But, that was when it first reopenned a few years back. I think I'll go there tomorrow and report back.

I'm pretty sure they still make it, but I have not seen a pack of Big League Chew in about 10 years. Maybe it's no longer available in Canada?

I only see it in specialty candy type stores now; it's definitely less widespread than it used to be.

I've thought about this a lot. I definitely used to love Taco Bell, and now I avoid it, even though I have a shameless love for fast food.

I'm not sure how much of this is:

1. Taco Bell food quality deteriorating
2. My tastes evolving / evolution of Chipolte
3. Overdosing on the chit in college
