what is the best ie... cheapiest way to get from lax to the bike thanks for the help

Re: lax to the bike
most likely, renting a car is cheapest. a cab would be fairly expensive. taking the bus would be slow and impractical.

Re: lax to the bike
A combination of a bus and metrolink would be the cheapest, but utterly impractical in LA.

Re: lax to the bike
ya...rent a car for 50 bucks. Cab ride will probably run you 40-50 each way.

Re: lax to the bike
The Bicycle is located in a pretty crappy area, so you might be better off getting a car rental. Or better yet, go to the Hustler which should be about $20 in cab fare from LAX.

From there you can take either a cab for about $10-$15, or take the 111 bus for $1.25 from the station directly to the Bike. Takes about 15 minutes by bus from Norwalk station to the Bike. Probably about an hour and a half in total from LAX. |

Re: lax to the bike
Cab or rental car. Rental car is probably cheaper. There is no other realistic option. Anyway, with a rental car you can also visit Commerce which is like a 10 minute drive from the Bike.

[/ QUOTE ] I lived within walking distance of the Metrolink station in Burbank, but was never able to map out a reasonable way to get anywhere near the Bike or Commerce by public transportation, so I drove, and it was hell. |
