Largest Field Defeated in a MTT Win?
What was the largest field you have conquered to win a MTT? Also, what was the buy-in, and how much did you win? I'll go first:
Field: 45 Buy-in: $11 Winnings: $139.50 Let's see anyone top that! |

Buy-in : $22 Winnings (deal for 1st) : $8,500 Chances are - you're NOT going to get any replies from REAL pros on here. Pros like Raymer, Men the Master etc... |
Re: Largest Field Defeated in a MTT Win?
my biggest field defeated was in a freeroll
it was in one of the old party freerolls like a year and a half ago. beat ~2400 people for a grand prize of i think $75. shipit. |
Re: Largest Field Defeated in a MTT Win?
Field ~ 300, buy in $25, first for $2600 or something.
I've come second three times for more or less the same cash in a $20r rebuy with a slightly bigger field and made more money for first at a higher buy in in a smaller field. My biggest ever cash by far was for coming 12th in an 800 rider with a huge overlay and a very flat structure, possibly the most loss-making tourney ever held and sadly unlikely ever to be repeated. The best I've done 1000+ runners was 22nd busting out in quite the most embarassing fashion in full view of a respected 2+2er. |
Re: Largest Field Defeated in a MTT Win?
Bad news: My largest field wins have been 50 plyr tourneys (Party 5tbl tourneys).
Good news: I've won more of those (and 3tbl tourneys) than I can count. Levels: $6-$55 buy-in (I don't play $6s anymore, but still play all the others due to frequency and preference for 4 tabling). But I did get 2nd in a freeroll with ~3k people 1.5yrs ago. I haven't had much success at final tabling large MTTs since...although I don't play them all that much. |
Re: Largest Field Defeated in a MTT Win?

Re: Largest Field Defeated in a MTT Win?
real money - 11r (what used to be 25k guranteed) for whatever amount that was.
I used to dominate the UB freerolls when I first started playing. I spent like 3 months playing those before playing for real money. I think i've won 3 of those for 2500 people each. |
Re: Largest Field Defeated in a MTT Win?
I've won the stars $50/90 a few times, and the cabin fever freeroll was 300 people (1st and 15th paid the same though)
A few final tables in bigger fields, but few wins so far |

Re: Largest Field Defeated in a MTT Win?

I never play there these days. The blinds go up way too fast for the stacks, and it's a shootout. |

I think they've changed their structures recently to pay to more spots, but I never play there anymore either. |
