I play only $10-$20 and above. I use to get 24 points per 20 hands in jackpot games and 18 points for non jackpot games. Now it's 15 points for 20 hands in all games jackpot or not upto 30-60. So being gold I use to get 48 points per 20 hands in jackpot games and now only 30 and no bonus points. Points will now come much slower...

I like that they reply to my email telling me how I will get more value for my play under the new system. Apparently cutting the regular points down and eliminating the bonus points is a benefit to me. I guess Im supposed to believe that.

Yes. And they lowered it for .50/1.
No more pts for deposits.

I thought .5/1 NL (my game) had been 4 and is now 5.

I like how they made limit and NL the same and just did it by blind sizes (assuming that I'm reading the table correctly/. Cause 1/2 limit players and 1/2 NL players certainly pay equal amounts in rake.

Where are you seeing the new system. When I go to Players Club -> How to earn Party Points form my account on their web site I get what looks like there old system.

They doubled the 2-4 limit points, I used to get 6 points per 20 hands now I get 12. Works for me

$22 SNG's have gone from 6 points to 4. That along with the removal of happy hour points is just lovely.

Why would any one play there when Party obviously do not care about their customers. I know there are plenty of fish there but if you are dissatisfied then move on. If you go to a restaurant and get crappy food or service, are you going to go back?

What are the requirements for silver and gold status now?

If it's easier to attain gold-status then it may work out better for some players (although losing happy-hour double-points and deposit-points and such would still hurt)

Whether it's 12k, 16k or 35k to get to gold-level is completely beyond me.


This is consistent Party confusion in their promotions though.
Pretty obvious that their stuff is completely impossible to decipher. It's beyond me how they don't seem to see that.

Just look over your own stuff and it's pretty obvious that none of this makes sense.


They have similar confusion or mis-communication or contradiction on almost every promotion they run.

Monster: Top 2,000 players get entry to monthly OR top 25% of those entered get entry.

Bonuses: Play 1k raked-hands and you COULD get $100. Leads to confusion as to whether you will really get the $100 or not.


Stuff like that.
Once it is brought to their attention by about 100+ customers who are trying to figure out what the hell they are trying to say one would think that it would be obvious that the language on their own site should be reviewed and edited.

After clearing my cookies and history, I still receive the old page too. Changing 50NL points from 4 to 3 for 20 hands completely screws me up for the summer sizzler. I'm questiong their business tactics if they really are messing with their point system, without a hint of warning, during a promo that can be entirely ruined by one off day.

2/4 NL is now 12 points per 20 hands. Its about [censored] time. This new point system makes more sense than pretty much anything PP has done in the past year IMO.

I think what will be key to this new points system is if they adjust the store prices down to reflect the lack of bonus points, but its Party so I guess they wont.

I am not surprised they got rid of the deposit bonus points but am surprised they got rid of the raked day and happy hour type ones as they potentially encourage play.

The points were basically worthless to begin with anyway. The VIP promotion is also (as far as I can see), basically worthless. It's not like I'm going to change my playing habits - what choice do I have? - but I'm not going to start playing more like I would have done with the last VIP bonus...

i've stopped playing on Party because of the stupid missing buttons bug if you do 5 or more SnGs.

I was going to play again (4table) just to maintain my Gold Status. (35k points to maintain per quarter, already have 30k.)

Now i need another 12k or 16k to maintain for this quarter?! SCREW THEM!
