Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

I had a withdrawl for 1100 usd and i've also lost a huge some of money. Pokerloco.com seized my money from the withdrawl and told me i have to fax them id which i did. Been three bloody months and now support wont even write me back. I have confirmation they've received my id and documents. They have no excuse for not paying and i just feel frusterated. Have to warn people about how they rip me off.

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

I would write them an email telling them that they better give you your money back or you will post on every single major forum about what they've done and you will ensure that they lose out on more than $1,100 because you are going to be a vindictive bastard about ruining their reputation. Tell them that you will tie up their customer service with emails every day demanding your money back and, out of principle, you will work extremely hard to damage their good name to every poker player who will listen (and it will be alot of us). Ask them if it's worth your $1,100 to lose out on thousands of dollars in rake all thanks to your negative publicity. Make sure your emails to them from now on are angry, sarcastic (but still with a hint of politness), and clearly state that you don't want to deal with their low-level customer service reps, but their managers who are actually capable of making decisions and don't simply have to follow protocol. They are on thin ice and are about to see what 1 angry poker player can do to their business. The ball is in their court now, it is up to them how much they want to lose.

No offense but I wouldn't expect any less than this if I played on a site called "Pokerloco".. Just go to Stars and you'll never have a problem.

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

Toddy, ya i shoulda played at stars. I thought because pokerloco is a pokerroom.com skin they'll be somewhat reputable. I've dealt with pokerroom and had no problems cashing out.

Stick to the bigger sites.

There are now 200+ sites, and i'd say at least 25% of these will dry up within a year. And when they do, they'll steal money. You have no recourse either. They are all based in foreign countries with seedy governments.

Canada dry, i agree some of these companies wont be around in a years time. I have no way of tracking these guys down. With pokerloco they dont even have a phone # and what can do u buy email. Now they wont respond to my email and im stuck for 1100.00

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

dtan05, I've talk with many peop who received their money. But in my case i didnt get my $$. I've been playing at larger sites for a few years now with no problem. These guys have taken me for a ride and i shoulda known better with a site name like pokerloco LOL. These smaller sites are located at some tiny country in the middle of nowhere and no way of getting your money back. Up to you if u wanna take the risk

NPP,

Is there anything you arent telling us? Like, did you sign up for the bonus multiple times, or anything like that?

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

Forshell, I sent you my nickname by PM. i have help from bonuswhores.com admin also. Pokerloco are giving me the same old run around and saying " we're lookin into it". Been almost 48 bloody hours. I've waited almost three bloody months for for my withdrawl. Would be a miracle if they pay up to be honest with you. I still trust the larger sites online like pokerstars

newpokerplayer 08-18-2006 06:36 PM

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

CallMeIshmael, Why would i sign up multiple times?? They are a new site and I just heard about them a few months back. Plus their bonus was mediocre. I didnt even clear their bonus when i withdrew. Found it very difficult clearing

Well, $2,000 > $1,000.

I asked because, in general, sites only ask you to fax in ID when something is out of the ordinary.

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

CallMeIshmael, I waited almost three weeks for a cheque from these guys. Then they asked me for ID and kepted on dragging ass. Almost three months later i still havent received my money. Pokerroom.com/hollywoodpoker are very good sites and people should continue to play there. But from my personal experience pokerloco they didnt pay out.

OK, but I think you missed my point. If you ask around, people dont report a problem with pokerloco. I played there recently, and had no problem cashing out. My point is: why did they pick you to hassle?

I dont want to make accusations, but 2p2 has a history of people making outrageous claims with new accounts, and often we arent getting the full story.

Also, out of curiosity, where are you from?

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

Im from bc Canada and people dont report problems about pokerloco because the dam site only been around for a few months. Can i asked you how much you cashed out for??? Pokerloco been around for less than a year that's all i know and of course there arent that many people who'd report problems.

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

i learnt my lesson never have huge $$ in unproven new sites. Shoulda kept my withdrawls and deposits under 200.00.

newpokerplayer 08-18-2006 07:23 PM

Re: Pokerloco stole 1100 from me

I wished someone told me this earlier LOL. 1100.00 is lots of $$ for a blue collar worker like me:(
