Brick Into the Crowd

Does anyone know what happened to the brick he threw into the crowd at the end of the event? I thought I heard Gold ask for it back towards the end of the ppv feed.

Somewhat stupid to throw 50K into the crowd and expect it back lol.....

I caught it. I have it under my mattress now.

nuts,

Ironically, today I was reading the Merchant of Venice, and Jews were often money lenders.

I think Techno established that they're stuffed with $1 bills, so it was something like just under $400.

dano,

$400 bucks is $400 bucks.

Dan. 08-12-2006 08:54 PM

Re: Brick Into the Crowd

I understand. But $400 is obviously no $50k, so it's not as ridiculous.

Yup, $100 dollar bills on the each end, and stuffed with $1s in the middle...a little disappointing...

Re: Brick Into the Crowd

is it just me or did the $12 million stacked on the table, didn't seem that much compared to last year's $7.5mill. when they were replaying the 2005 final table at the dinner break, i saw the pile of 7.5mill, and it looked just as much, if not more than this years'/

A solid gold bar weighs something like 45lbs. There's no way you casually toss one. When they stuff 20 in a suitcase in the movies that's just hollywooding.

Fraud! This must be some more Harrahs BS. I'm sure Benny and Jack Binion had the real prize money stuffed in those cardboard boxes.

My sources have confirmed that it's actually enriched uranium, 30 to a suitcase and it's definitely not hollywooding.

The big gold bars you see in movies etc are 12.5kg (~27.5 lbs). Not that this has anything to do with the OP.

He said in the interview on tuco's show . That a tv producer caught it, and it was returned to the pool.

Gotta admit, I've been waiting to see one of the the winners do that, totally priceless.

Just imagine if it'd hit some lucky guy in the face. He'd have caught a lot more than 50k.
