100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
This is from a while back and I fuked up a hand maybe...
100-200 LHE at tulaip. 7 handed. PREFLOP: UTG limps, hero raise with AQo, 3 folds, SB 3bets, BB folds, UTG+1 makes a very obvious questionable call, Hero calls Flop 9TJ rainbow: SB bets, UTG calls, Hero calls Turn A: SB bets, UTG calls, Hero calls River 2: SB bets, UTG calls, Hero folds I figure I am beat by any ace, any PP to 3jack out of SB and bet turn and river. I also put UTG on a realy marginal hand preflop like A9 or TJ but was afraid SB had a set. I had a gut feeling that I was good enough of the time to call this big pot down but out played myself... |
Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
I think the hand goes astray when you choose not to pop it on the flop. This will both define the SBs hand and might allow you to check through until you see the river. With this type of situation, I think it would be invaluable.
Otherwise, you are merely donk-calling along, with no idea if your turned pair is good, just a victim of the times . . . TSP |

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
ya, who is thebeebster? barry, pete? ya i played the game way under bankrolled and was too afraid of getting losing more than necessary due to the preflop action of SB.

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
I don't understand... we gotta raise this flop 100% of the time IMO, just as we'd be doing here w/ 99, TT or JJ which we could easily have based on our preflop play... we can always re-evaluate on the turn, but I think this is a flop raise 100% of the time and then we re-evaluate on the turn depending on the action/turn card

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
because now we don't have any game at all.
they killed the 20/40 by spreading 40/80, and now they killed what was left of the 40/80 by spreading the 100/200. They would have a consistent 20/40 if they had managed the game better. They caved to a few people who wanted to play higher and now they have nothing. |
Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
R U retarded? u have to be joking me, the 100-200 doesnt kill anyone. Anyone who plays that game is rich as [censored]. The people who go to play that game would not be there otherwise if that game was not spread.

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
Ha. That's so not true. Bill H was just playing 8-16 at parkers last night.

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
that guy is loaded, think 40 millions+. he plays poker for social actvity

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
Yeah, all I'm saying is that rich people will play lower. people who go busto playing 1/2 can't play as often. and that's why we don't have 20/40 or any high limit game at tulalip any more. Of course this is just my opinion. no big deal if you don't agree.

There are not enough rich gamblers in seattle to support the game. |
Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand

[/ QUOTE ] Because those few seem to think it's like vegas and people come to washington to play cards. Idiots. They treat it like their own private club and can care less about building a player pool. Which, imo, goes a bit more to ego than actual wanting to make money at the game. Lotta ego in the big game up here. b |

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
I think they still start a list on fri/sat... but they haven't had a consistent game in a long time so the number of 20/40 regulars that head to the room is much lower than it used to be.

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
I agree w/ Bernie. It sucks having to play 8/16 at parkers all the time because Tulalip can't seem to keep a 10/20 or 20/40 game going and muckleshoot (a) sucks (b) is way far away (c) is smoking.

Re: 100-200 at Tulalip WA hand
There are plenty of players to play the 1/2 in Seattle. The only reason they go up to Tulalip is to move the game from the Muck on Tues. Thursday and get a little varity plus we all hate the Muck anyway. The 1/2 players only come out to play that game. Where the main bunch goes, Pete, Barry, Smiley, is where the game is going to be. If it weren't up there it would be back at the Muck. Now that the WSOP is over I would imagine it will go at least the three days a week it was going before the series. The bigger games will only go in Seattle becuase they want to play them on a regular basis. The casino just spreads what they/we want to play Bill just likes to play cards, don't worry about his roll. Come on down and have some fun.
