Hear, hear! I can't think of a guy more deserving, both in terms of skill and character, of winning this tournament.

Thought he was 28 or 29. But still not middle aged. Unless you're talking 2+2 only then he's actually old already.

Either way... goooooooooooooo Rizen.

Erik Friberg raises to $120,000 from late position. Eric Lynch calls from the cutoff. The flop comes K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and Friberg bets $250,000 and Lynch makes the call. The turn is the J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Friberg checks. Lynch bets $300,000 and Friberg calls. The river is the 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and both players check. Lynch shows K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Friberg mucks his hand. After the hand, Lynch has $4,300,000. Friberg takes a hit down to $3,100,000.

If this action is correct then that river check is ugly.

According to cardplayer:

27 Eric Lynch 880,000 $-3,420,000

No details though, any idea?

Erik Friberg Cracks Aces; Doubles Up
On a board of Q954 Eric Lynch bets $150,000 into the $400,000 pot. Erik Friberg re-raises $2.6 million to put himself all-in. Lynch calls and shows AA, but Frieberg shows 45 for two pair. The river is a 5 giving Friberg a full house and the pot. Lynch is down to $880,000 and Friberg doubles up to $6,400,000.

well, good thing is he's still sitting on 20+ bb. Lets hope he knows how to play a decent size stack in relation to the blinds. no pushing all in with 22 UTG.

From p5's live:

After losing a 6.5 million dollar pot Eric had this to say:

"I made a bad call. He check called the flop and then check raised the turn. I raised UTG and continued with it post flop, what could he put me on there other than AA, and he wouldn't play it that way unless he could beat Aces. I almost mucked it face up, but I talked myself into it. It was 2.6 million more and I could have left myself with 3.8 million and been in fine shape. Instead I'm down to 800k and it's back to short stack ninja mode."

Eric Lynch raises all-in for $600,000 from the small blind. Rich Lee calls and flips over KQ while Lynch shows Q10. The board comes J94KA, doubling Lee's chip stack up to $700,000. After this hand, Lynch is left with $1,300,000.
