I'm in on table 49. Full concentration here after 22 < 77 on the 872 board in the party 500k. So much for my plan to win both.

They're bumping up the guarantee to $750k starting in February. They clearly feel secure they'll meet it, and I don't blame them.

Re: PokerStars $215 500k!!!!!

I'm in table 63. Question here about what to do on this flop....about 3rd or 4th hand.

PokerStars Game #3721852710: Tournament #17675390, Hold'em No Limit - Level I (10/20) - 2006/01/22 - 16:34:45 (ET)
Table '17675390 53' Seat #6 is the button
Seat 1: LJDHOUSTON (1920 in chips)
Seat 2: Flheat60 (2710 in chips)
Seat 3: Froddo (2540 in chips)
Seat 4: bmxreed36 (2530 in chips)
Seat 5: mongomark (2890 in chips)
Seat 6: porky (2470 in chips)
Seat 7: muchakja (2440 in chips)
Seat 8: flukert (2500 in chips)
Seat 9: acesrsexy (2500 in chips)
muchakja: posts small blind 10
flukert: posts big blind 20
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to bmxreed36 [Qh Qs]
acesrsexy: folds
LJDHOUSTON: folds
Flheat60: calls 20
Froddo: raises 80 to 100
bmxreed36: calls 100
mongomark: folds
porky: calls 100
muchakja: folds
flukert: calls 80
Flheat60: folds
*** FLOP *** [2s 4d Th]
flukert: checks
Froddo: bets 500

So he raises before the flop, and slightly overbets the pot on the flop into 3 other players. Doesn't look like a continuation bet with high cards. So it's probably either KK, AA, or maybe AT, KT, etc. Suggestions for hero?

How long until this is $1 million guaranteed every single week? June?

I'm in too, GL All. I always manage to drop about 500 chips right off the bat by being stupid. Still going for my first cash in this darn thing.

But I always qualify cheaply and am still building my $T at the same time, someday my luck is bound to change in this tourney.

I hate this tourney as well. I usually skip it, but I was mad since I donked out of both crypto tourneys. I figured maybe stars, party or ub would be lucky for me today.

I'm down to 1900. Some good plays early mixed in with some dumb ones. My stack-building efforts aren't working quite as well as they should (i.e. I've made a bad call or two).

Re: PokerStars $215 500k!!!!!

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 64 hands and saw flop:
- 1 out of 7 times while in big blind (14%)
- 0 out of 7 times while in small blind (0%)
- 5 out of 50 times in other positions (10%)
- a total of 6 out of 64 (9%)
Pots won at showdown - 1 of 1 (100%)
Pots won without showdown - 2

lets go ahead and fire up that FT sweat thread for me, the deck is hiting me in the face.

1.6k at break =/
