New girl lies about her age, what to do
 

So I met a women at a bar the other weekend and we hit it off right away. We made plnas to hang out the next day and we've hung out almost everyday/night for the past week.

The second night she asked me my age, I said 23, she was surprised because I do look about 29-30. So she tells me she's 30, so no biggie there.

Fast forward to last night, she says 'I need to tell you something, blah blah blah, I'm really 34.' I didn't really have an answer to it. After thinking about it, the fact she's only 4 years older doesn't bother me, but just the fact she lied about it. It somehow feels like I was tricked and it is bothering me more and more.

Anyway, I really do like this women and I'm frustrated by this, so if there is any advice out there, I'd like to hear it.

Shes interested in you. Age isnt a big deal. Stop treating it as such. Once she senses you dont care, she wont either.

FFS woman always lie about their age, dont worry its the bit where she missed out having three kids that will be more of the surprise later.

Edit to add, my lass is 5 years older than me and the age difference doesnt bother me, 11 years ma ybe more than I could handle though if it was a long term thing, you have only met her a couple of times so go for it for now older woman sex etc.

The age difference doesn't matter if it doesn't bother you (and it shouldn't).

She lied. It bothers you. It bothered her, too, so she told you the truth. Tell her that you were upset, but are really happy she told the truth, tell her honesty is important, blah blah blah, water under the bridge.

OP: Just be glad she told you...my cousin found out on his wedding night that his fiancee was A. 40 and B. Divorced. (He's 31 she said she was 29 [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] ) Needless to say the wedding didn't occur as planned...

He's pretty dumb. Plus, I'm not sure how it would come up...I doubt he was scouring her purse for two forms of ID...

But dude, 11 years? That's a big difference. High school/college graduation, birthday cards, friends, etc. You'd think something along the way would come up that tipped him off. I guess he really is dumb.

Reminds me of my 10 year gap experience, pulled this woman in our regular pub I was 23/24 she was 35, end of the night she said come clubbing and go back to hers so I left my mates and lift home and off we went.

Ended up back at hers at 2am in a very dodgy village, goes in the house theres the baby sitter and 4 kids, we go upstairs and she says will sleep in the same bed but not doing anything, at this point to late and too far to get back home, try my luck a bit she spurns my advances.

Woke up next morning to numerous kids coming in and out, Spice Girls Wannabee being played over and over again by one of them for what seemed like forever, eventually managed to get up make my excuses and left, walking round this dodgy place having to get three buses to get home and not being happy.

Saw her in the pub the next week, managed to avoid her only to see her being carried out of the pub mortal by her mates later in the night, nice girl it would seem.

OP - According to US Weekly and People Magazine, which my wife gets and I enjoy reading immensely, women in their "fabulous forties" are all the rage in Hollywood. So maybe set your sights a bit higher. You can probably get some hag who looks like Felicity Huffman.
