Re: Party VIP Offer?
On the subjct of Party. Do they have that $100 deposit bonus every month?
|
Re: Party VIP Offer?
In a week I was told. If you are a VIP send an email complaining (and boy do we have a lot to complain about!) they gave me an instance $100 Bonus.
That'll offset the $3k a month Monster party rake! I'm signing up for Pokerstars... |

Re: Party VIP Offer?
What did you say to get $100 free pete?
|
Re: Party VIP Offer?
It was discussed in the IB forum.
A couple of players e-mailed VIP to say that they were pretty disappointed that they never got a July offer (as they continually insisted was on the way). If you also mention that you heard that other VIP's got $100 because of this delay I suspect you will have a pretty good shot. |
Re: Party VIP Offer?
Yeah about their being no VIP offer since April and they said at the time it was a monthly points target. Also mentioned Pokerstars Wpex, the monster demotion.
I think this is the second time they gave me $100 for complaining. Pay for a day and halfs monster rake. |
Free $100 Bucks Confirmed
I emailed , just told them I had been playing at WPEX recently but had started to come back to party because of monster *cough bs*. Just said I used their site for years but stopped because of the lack of VIP offers. Got 100 bucks less than an hour later.
|
Re: Free $100 Bucks Confirmed
I talked with PartyPoker today as part of a focus group in Las Vegas and they promised us they are going to work on the VIP system and offer more (some?) promotions.
IE more of the same crap. |
Re: Free $100 Bucks Confirmed
dude - not that it makes THAT much difference. But you probably could have gotten the $100 without encouraging them that you like the monster thing.
|

Re: Party VIP Offer?
Seriously, how hard would it be for just 2 guys to sit down and put together a VIP offer?
Even if they wanted to construct an individual points-for-cash offer that is unique to every one of their VIP's I can't imagine it would take THAT long (although that does make it unnecessarily complicated). They say they are 'working on it' as if it is something that really takes days and days (weeks?) to construct. |

Re: Party VIP Offer?
march 2005 on the PPM I met some guy who said he was a consultant for partypoker.
He came up to the bar and bought everyone drinks and was soliciting opinions about Party. He was very polite and professional. He mentioned they were very excited for their upcoming rebuy tourneys. I said that wasn't very important to me. Everyone else wanted to bombard him with bot and 'unrealistic hands' paranoia so I left. Somebody else in Minnesota reported a couple months ago that he was invited to some party consultant type meeting. Anyway, I don't think this is a new thing. I also don't think it's necessary. I don't know if Stars and other sites do such things but I do believe it is possible to put together promotions that make sense just by using some common-sense. I also don't think it should take a rush of e-mails for party to realize they have software problems. All they have to do is listen...and not give condescending replies that the disappearing buttons is somehow not their fault. read your e-mails or read these forums. Everybody here has been talking about the most significant of the problems for some time. Why is a focus-group necessary to say all the exact same things that they have been told a million times already? |
Re: Party VIP Offer?
wow, I did not thing those kinds of nuts would be the people on the PPM cruise. crazy
|
Re: Party VIP Offer?
I just emailed the VIP account and got a reply saying there would be a new offer within a week. They did not offer me any kind of bonus.

Re: Party VIP Offer?
I moved from Stars to Party a little while ago. And I am just amazed how often Party is down for me, the client is buggy and slow (not slow as in hands pr hour, beats Stars on that account which is nice). For a company raking in an insane amount of cash, how hard can it be to spend just a little bit on developing non-buggy software and have servers/hardware that secures really good uptimes. Mindboggling stuff how amateurish they seem at times. They are obviously doing well as it is, just don't understand why they don't do the easy stuff above and start listening to their customers as well. They could do even better without any major costs.

Re: Party VIP Offer?
I'm not exactly sure why people would want a VIP offer with Monster now in place. No doubt the offer will require one to amass a huge amount of points, and it's very hard to avoid the blue tables when you need to open up multiple screens. VIPs would end up paying more money than they'd make.

Re: Party VIP Offer?
If you are going to play at Party no matter what, obviously you'd want every offer available.
I got $100 after sending a email to Party about the lack of VIP offers, btw. Ship it. |

Re: Party VIP Offer?
Same goes for me. The email is ...right? I cranked through the first couple VIP offers but skipped the last one, so maybe that's why they didn't respond to my latest email. Although, a poster above emailed so maybe I'll try that one next.

LOL, as soon as I posted my previous message I get a response from them. Shockingly, they continue with their arbitrary methods.

I also cannot tell you when you will receive the offer. Please be patient as this can take some time. Justin PartyPoker VIP Club Customer Care |
Re: Party VIP Offer?
I sent this email last night:
I play on Partypoker under the account name of XXXXXXX, username XXXXXXXX, and I have been a VIP for almost a year and the past few months have recieved no sort or bonus or deal or anything. I was under the impression that VIPs recieved some sort of bonus for the large amount of business they were bringing to your site. After learning of the most recent "monster" promotion, as well as the "summer sizzler" I am very disappointed in you guys. I was expecting a decent bonus and what I see is complete trash that is open to everyone including non VIP members. If I do not hear good news regarding VIP bonuses soon then I am definitely looking into switching my playing to one of your competitors, such as Pokerstars or perhaps even WPEX. I have also heard from some VIPs that they have recieved a recent $100 bonus that I have not heard or seen. Why are you only giving this to a few and I heard nothing about it? And I got this reply: Dear Jesse, Thank you for contacting Customer Care. I am pleased to announce that there will be a VIP offer sent out within a week. Please look out for this offer either by email or via the pop ups when you log into the lobby. I have looked into your account and I see you have already received the July reload bonus which was for $100, this is the bonus alot of players will be referring to. If you have any further questions or queries you are more than welcome to contact us again. Kind Regards Wayne VIP Customer Care No free money for me... |

Re: Party VIP Offer?
If someone would be kind enough to tell me what conditions are necessary to be qualified as a party VIP I would appreciate that. Do you need a certain number of party points? Do you you have to reach gold status level?
Thanks |

Although, I do pay $20K/month in rake.. I guess the joke's on me. |

Would it be wise to email party and ask them if they would give me vip status? Anyone else who is informed is also encouraged to provide an answer. |
Re: Party VIP Offer?
"If someone would be kind enough to tell me what conditions are necessary to be qualified as a party VIP I would appreciate that"
We would appreciate that too. Unfortunately, Party isn't very willing to stay consistent about this. "Would it be wise to email party and ask them if they would give me vip status?" It probably wouldn't hurt to ask if you are in already to make sure. But it probably won't matter very much if they stay consistent with how they've done it in the past. Lots of players who had no idea they were VIP's would get an offer sent to them (back when they were sending offers) and would then say, "Well, I guess this means I'm a VIP now." But there were a few who were skipped over somehow. So it probably doesn't hurt to let them know that you believe you have played enough where you should qualify for their next offer. |
Re: Party VIP Offer?
thanks, I've just sent party several questions about my vip status
