I have seen people talk about how 25k months are not sustainable at nl600 and I really do not get it. Running at 4ptbb/hr while 8tabling is $384/hr working 20 hour weeks you hit that number pretty easy.

Winrates: I've looked everywhere and i really cant find an answer to this.

Right now I'm playing 400NL and running hot. I dont want my expectations to be skewed by variance so i'm looking out to all of you guys. What kind of winrate (ptbb/100) are people pulling in here over bit samples? Is 6-8 sustainable?!

I'm still relatively new to cash games (only ~70k hands) and i havent hit a downswing yet, so what should i expect!?!

goal: take a break, then concentrate on making money. 20k is the goal.

I have been a recreational player up to this point. I played about 3k hands of 6max NL (400 - 1000) over the last two weeks - all single-tabling - and made 35BB/100 hands. Sickest heater I have ever been on and it has me scrambling to start keeping track of my winnings for tax purposes.

Looking at going back to school in January so my goal for August is to avoid tilt when I inevitably cool off and keep playing good poker. I'm going to start mixing in a second table as well. (This sounds hilarious to some of you, but I do usually do other stuff, like watch a game or read 2+2 while playing). My goal is to make more money playing poker than I do at my full-time job.

And to post more hands when I play bad.

- set my personal records for hands played and money earned
- continue to get a lot better
- play 1k fulltime for 20k hands and if i'm satisfied with my play, start playing good 2k tables again

$15K net on a minimum 50K hands at $200 and $400 6max/5max. Mix in a higher proportion of $400 games.

Play more short PLHE-the game are so good- table vips are 5-10% higher then similar nlhe games.

Break out of this $11k-$15K monthly range I've been in the past 4 months.

get back in sick swimming shape after being out of the water for 3 weeks.

I just wanna put in alot of hours. Let's see how it goes. Moving to a new place and starting university etc this month so might not have so much time for it, but I'll try.

Suck it up and switch to Party from Bodog.. leading to:

* Getting a rakeback deal
* Buying and understanding PokerTracker and the meaning behind the X/Y thing
* Learning to play vs more varied players rather than the typical weak-tightness of Bodog
* Play 5k hands
* Establish my PTBB/100
* Possibly learn to 6max rather than grinding full ring

I'm going to be out of town partying in Florida with friends before school starts so I will only be playing the first half of the month. Goal is $50k, maybe complete an adhoc or something to show T-God how it is done.

Make 10k which being on vacation for ten days and moving back into school- I haven't had a great month in a while.

Play in the weekly donkaments or something and make a ten figure tournament score.

Start working my way toward next month's goal, which is buying a rolex.

Run at 5+ bb/100, I'm was better than my damn winrate.

i have been kind of lax in playing the past couple of months. i want to get 50k hands in August. my previous most is 33k. i would like to run at 5ptbb while doing this, hopefully my play won't be hurt too much by playing more than normal. also, i'm considering an adhoc, just b/c people have been mentioning it and i haven't pulled in all nighter since i graduated over a year ago.

if anyone else is trying to play a lot of hands maybe we could do a prop bet or something. i'm looking for some motivation.

Not sure how much I will play with getting ready for school/football but look to play 50k hands and make 30k at 3/6.
Open up some more accounts on diff sites. Get better at Stud and Omaha/8.

Mix in some good 5/10 games and 10/20 when possible. Get my new computer built so that I can get a pimp 30" monitor.

Buy myself a Rolex.

i'd be happy with 3-5 ptBB/100 at 5/10FR 8tabling for august since i'm incapable of running "hot". also want to play ~40k hands since i'll be at TS for a week where i probably wont play any online.
anyone going to ts for the tourneys, **watch out for the nit playing 500nl or 300min, i hear he only plays the nuts**
