i don't like it because if you miss one day the best you can do is $150 for 25 days of 100 points. since i'll be travelling some, there's no way i can do all 31 days. but not bad for people able to play every day.

So if I'm playing $50 NL, this works out to being 500 raked hands a day for 31 days, or 15500 hands for a whopping 51x bonus. Wow...thanks. Still might do it though depending on how I'm feeling on the first.

party points dont count all $1 pots like the bonuses do either.
i cleared a bonus while doing a promo once and the raked hands conflicted in the bonus/promo.

this happened to me too? i tried several times and finally just maile info and they fowareded it to VIP. they just said keep a look out again =P. Party did this promo last december with the santa promotion. the thing was that they stacked it with 2 other promotions. the scratch card plus the football promo plus like 2 reloads that month. hopefully they get the same thing going for august.

if you don't play on party all the time, it's bad because it is very little money for lots of play. If you play on party all the time it's good, because it's free money for no play.

Meh, even if you play at party all the time anyway, it kind of sucks. There's alot of non-poker reasons someone might not be able to play 31 days in a row.

Yeah, this promo sucks for sure. Playing a solid session every single day is almost impossible. Even playing 25 days in a month is pretty crappy. I play poker because I don't want a job I have to do every single day. If you play 20 days (about by usual) you get $75. Whoopty freaking do Party.

The promos that are based on some # of points per week are much much better.

So if you contribute $1500 in rake to Party during August they will give you $300. Nice job by the marketting department. With the 100 pts / day requirement this is clearly aimed at the high rake generators.

Better stunt than trying to hypnotize PokerStars players. Barely.

Grouchie: You should have no problems if you are intent on doing this. Almost all of the medium cost hotels have free internet access in the rooms. If you're frugal, you can still find them all over the place. It's something that is commonly advertised on their signs or they'll have a banner up across the front door. Super 8's especially almost always have access in the rooms. If it's wireless, just make sure you talk to the desk as to how important access is to you. You need to get a room as close to the router as you can or your connection could suck (if it's wired in the walls, almost all rooms are ok then). And then you can always play in the evening, and then after midnight eastern and take care of two days during one stay.

I think I'll be doing it as long as they have a real time counter on partypoitns to make sure I hit 100 points a day. I figure I'll be busy somedays, but I don't have anything planned this month where I can't logon at midnight to play a quick hour.

500. Although I think the pots have to be raked 10c or more if more than 5 players are dealt in so some small raked pots at 25nl might not count.

How is that relevant at all, outside of considerations like Party offering a different bonus if this one wasn't happening? If you play exclusively on Party, you're going to get free money. If you play whatever the minimum for your level/points, you're going to get free money.

The only reason this promo would suck is if its replacing other promos. In a vacuum, its great. If they're moving to this sort of thing instead of deposit bonuses with 10x clearances, or whatever, I agree its a very bad sign. But I don't know how we'd be able to distinguish between the two at this point.

I'm sorry that I cannot directly answer the question, but I can give an estimate for Full Ring Games. The number of played hands required for 100 Party Points would be approximately:

LIMIT -- PLAYED --Hands Per Hour
25PL --- 1000 ------ 52
25NL --- 1100 ------ 56
1/2 ---- 750 ------- 66
2/4 ---- 675 ------- 58
3/6 ---- 360 ------- 64
5/10 --- 240 ------- 66

The Hands played numbers are bases on BLUE. Point accumulations are 1.5 times fasted for SILVER and 2 time faster for GOLD. These are long term averages. Depending on the game, it may be less or more. I am hoping that the numbers would be less.
