The mother [censored] goddamn piece of [censored] humping [censored] [censored] [censored] Emergency Broadcast System cut in right during the beginning of Ari's lunch with all the competing agents. I'm so pissed. The ending looked pretty good though.

best ep of the season.

and was that adam davies sitting in the background during the meeting for the new agency? i find that weird that ari would consider hiring him.

I love how Ari just got owned for acting just like how E did a couple ep's ago. It's going to be really interesting to see how this all plays out.

2 Points on that. If Davies was a partner wouldnt the name be Miller Gold Davies? And point 2, Ari left Davies without saying he would do it.

I think he's saying that Terrance knows everything now, so what does Ari have to gain by playing friendly with Davies now.

"Partner" is a pretty generic term; there are named parnters, partners with ownership, just plain old partners, etc.

I don't know about best episode, the episode with the high school party was awesome.

Next week with the boys in Vegas looks very promising, though.

first, the show is much more interesting when he doesn't have a job. second, he already got paid for "Queens Blvd" so shutting the movie down isn't taking money out of his pocket (given that the movie was originally slated for limited release, he clearly didn't have any equity in the box office receipts).

After the bad press from Aquaman 2 Vince could use a hit movie. He's clearly marketable without another hit, but a big movie would make him untouchable.

Actually, he does get box office reciepts. If you don't remember it was a really big deal in the first season that they get a good contract so if Queens Blvd. became "that Big Fat Greek B1tch" he gets paid.

whoever said last week's episode was the best episode of the season is retarded. It, along with the one where Dom comes in rank among the worst episodes of all time.

It can't be a best episode ever if Gary Busey isn't in it.

All episodes with dom SUCKED. This season started to get really good once he bounced from the show. They seriously need to consider making the episodes >23 minutes!!!!

Would everyone agree that Vince and Eric are clearly the two worst characters on the show?

Personally I think his principles are awesome. I don't even know if this is done in Hollywood, but in any event - turning a black-and-white movie into a color movie over the objection of the director is a travesty. I've grown to like Vince a lot more over the fast few eps...he's really shown that there's a lot of integrity behind the pretty face.

Dids 07-31-2006 07:26 PM

Re: Entourage 7/30

The whole bit with the colorization of the film was just over the top and rushed. Yeah, it's an issue, and I can buy it, but I just think it needed more development. Sometimes it feels like a lot of elements of the plot for this show are happening just to get the characters to difference places, like everything that's been done for the past 4 eps is to change status quo so that things are more interesting or something.

i hear what you're saying and i think you're largely correct -- but you have to remember that they only have 23-25 mins per week to play with and each episode needs to have its own arc and be self-contained. with such constraints, short-cuts are inevitable.

samjjones 07-31-2006 07:47 PM

Re: Entourage 7/30

If OOT was a character on "Entourage", it would be Billy Walsh.

ThaSaltCracka 07-31-2006 07:56 PM

Re: Entourage 7/30

His principles are awesome in the sense that they are completely unrealistic. Its also awesome in the sense that he is saying FU to Hollywood. Its unrealistic because no one would every do this, at least in the way he does it.
