How hot is it.

I'm currently sitting in the air conditioningless office sweating my ass off. So, I'm curious, where are you, and how hot is it?

Columbus Ohio, 91 degrees, feels like 97 for whatever that is worth.

Madison, Wisconsin:

A HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT WEDNESDAY.

SEVERAL DAYS OF HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS ARE THEN EXPECTED AS A LARGE HIGH PRESSURE AREA BUILDS FROM THE NORTHERN PLAINS INTO THE GREAT LAKES REGION. BY MONDAY AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S WILL COMBINE WITH DEWPOINTS IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S TO PRODUCE OPPRESSIVELY HUMID CONDITIONS THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT.

yuck

It's 1:20 in Houston and it's 92 and cloudy. It has been a cool summer thusfar, and especially the last couple weeks, relative to the rest of the country.

I'm going to start this same thread in late-August/early-September and we'll see where everyone stands.

Only 83 degrees in Phoenix, high of only 95. Humidity is 63% and the dew point is 70 degrees, which is pretty crazy for Phoenix. It is monsoon season, though.

I've actually been pleasently surprised with the temperatures here to be honest. It's sucked for a couple of days, but it could be a lot worse. How does the rain this summer so far compare to average?

Spent all yesterday tailgating before a concert near Columbia, MD. It had to be mid-low 90s, not a cloud in sight. Sadly we forgot a popup tent and sunscreen so I am no longer white

Are you the guy who just moved here recently?

It has been raining a lot recently. I've played 6 baseball games and have had 6 rainouts. It normally doesn't rain this much in July. It has kept things cooler than usual. Come late August, through September, and into early October it will rain almost every single day and feel like the Jungle. I absolutely despise that time of year.

Then from mid-October through late November the sky will be crystal clear and cool and breezy. I pretty much orgasm when I walk outside during this span.

Yeah, I moved here last month. It's been hot enough that I've given up drinking my tea for the rest of the summer, and I'm really looking forward to it cooling down a little bit. Still though, I thought the weather would be worse than it has been. Having AC has been so nice.

I'm glad my AC works. Humidity ain't been horrible lately. 70&.

We had highs of 95ish for a few days last week and everyone was crowing about how nice it was outside. Idiots.

Usually mid July to mid August seems to be the worst time. We've had so much rain lately that it has kept things cool. I look for the first half of August to be really hot.

I remember a summer about 8 years ago where I think there was like 16 consecutive days of 100+. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Cutting the grass turns into an event.

I'm in that 103107 area, I knew it was hot as hell, but 100K degrees is nuts.

Actually it broke 100 at 11am today, and peaked at 109 around 3pm, and dropped below 100 again around 7pm. At least it is a dry heat, way more like walking into an oven than stepping into boiling water.
