Best flowing rappers

I've been listening to a lot of rap lately, and I decided that flow is the most important thing in rap, IMO. Lyrics and production just don't matter as much to me. So, OOT, recommend me some rappers with good flow.

My vote for best flow goes to Rakim at the moment. I've also been listening to some Chamillionaire and I'm very impressed with his flow despite the ridiculous lyrics.

So, who else should I be listening to?

"reggie (REDMAN), jay-z, tupac and biggie; andre from OutKast, jada, corrupt, nas, and then me"

This thread would do well to avoid the 'who's your favorite rapper' line of thinking.

Snoop does have good flow- listen to Doggystyle. Kurrupt, IMO, has the best flow. Others are Eminem, BIG and arguably Bone Thugs.

Biggie's the best.

Some others are good, too.

Better choice than a lot of others in this thread.

I don't think some of y'all understand "flow". Biggie's flow is below avg imo.

Re: Best flowing rappers

50 Cent has a very good flow, by the way. I think a lot of you have no idea what flow really is, but whatever. Biggie had a very solid flow that rode the beat perfectly. 50 does that well, too, but his mumbling sound after being shot sounds different.

Re: Best flowing rappers

Biggie is my favorite rapper but I'd agree that his flow is below average.

Rakim and Krazie Bone are good choices IMO. One that I might catch some flack for... Eminem. Drug Ballad, the Way I Am, that's good flow as far as I know.

Not true. Listen to his older stuff.

OP, Rakim is the correct answer. Congrats on figuring it out.

Eminem is also a good answer.

I don't listen to rap much anymore. But, one rapper whose flow I always liked was Brotha Lynch. His lyrics, on the other hand...

I believe he can breath thru his noise while rapping, thus supplying him with an infinite amount of oxygen to rap forever.

I think you mean inward singing, as inward breathing is not all that uncommon.
