Easy Push.

I don't understand the subject.

Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
If villain had AK or KQs, then yes. |
Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
This would be a hard fold and one that I dont think I am good enough to make. Did you have any reads. Look at the situation he is not miniraising you with a flush draw and he would lead the flop with a big ace so there are not too many hands that you are ahead of that would play this way, but in the middle of the moment it would be hard for me to fold this.

Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
BB loved raising pf. I had only been at the table ~30 minutes so no good reads. I had no real good idea what the mini-raise meant, but my gut told me flush draw. If he had a set, I would think that he would raise bigger on that board with the potential straight draws and flush draw.

Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
I don't see the debate. This is an instant shove.

Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
Looks good. You can't really tell what BB has but you have a good hand and a short stack, time to put it in and find out.

Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
I disagree that this would not be a flush draw. With the mini-check raise, he could hope that I would check behind on the turn instead of bet. This way he may be able to see the turn and river for only $25 more.

Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
I play it the same. You are in the most trouble against AT or a set. If he had one of those hands you were doomed here IMO. Against all other hands you are in great shape, and if you got sucked out on you definitely played it well and got your money in while a favorite. Nice hand.

Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
I was up against ATo. I really believe that the mini-raise threw me for a loop. This was such a draw heavy board, I really believed it was far more likely villian was on a medium to strong draw as opposed to a better made hand. We flipped our hands after the all in, and the turn was a diamond, however I was unable to suck out on the river.

Re: Was this a mistake or a bad beat?
I hate raising this type of hand in a juicy live game. You'll have no idea where you stand after the flop and you're now playing a big pot with a marginal hand in what will almost certainly be a multiway pot (since in live play once someone limps, they almost always call a raise). That's my two cents.
