live at the bike archives
Just signed up for the archives yesterday and i can't get any of them to play. They worked last night. I know they were shutting down for the weekend but i assumed the archives would still work. Anyone else have this problem?
thanks gummy d |
Re: live at the bike archives
Just tried to log on myself. Looks like the archives are shut down as well.

Re: live at the bike archives
damn, didn't really feel like playing but i guess i will now. LATB is always a good alternative to online poker.
You would think their website would be active regardless of whether anyone is there or not. Oh well.... |
Re: live at the bike archives
i thinks its cause LA is undering going huge thunderstorms, i live in orange county and we are starting to get the rain and lighting/thunder as we speak. My internet just went off and on, could be they are protecting the servers. Flash flood warnings are been shown on tv too.

Re: live at the bike archives
They must be down. I've tried on two different computers and the archives and weekly rebroadcast are not working. But the video blog is. In fact, I was watching earlier in the day with no problem. Hope they get it fixed soon.

Re: live at the bike archives
Some more shows worth watching:
3/9/05 (It's mislabeled, but the best part of this show is the last 1/3rd of the show, which has Kenna James donking it up in 8-16 limit). 9/7/05 Another whale game with Greenstein commentary starting about halfway thru the show 9/16/05 10-20 NL with a ~25k pot 10/25/05 - 5-5 NL The infamous "L@TB is rigged" game, featuring Jeff berating players as Jesus and his Mexican poker friend donk it up. 2/8/06 - 25-50 NL The infamous "That's Alan" hand (about 2:30 into the show) 3/22/06 Kenna James v Michael Mizrachi in 25-50 NL |

9/16/05 10-20 NL with a ~25k pot [/ QUOTE ] Also about 2:32 in to the show... It's so funny that all the action seems to happen around the 2:30 mark. This was the infamous Barry vs. Kenna hand where Barry makes an unbelievable call with JJ against Kenna - who wound up being stuck for over $16,000 that night. $25,000+ pot. Those of you looking for a Bartgasm supreme - this is it. - T |
Re: live at the bike archives
i enjoyed the jesus LATB rigged game. Jeff complaing about all the action, that game is a game players should dream about getting into

Re: live at the bike archives
You have to watch the Cinco de Mayo episode. It's downright hilarious at times. Bart gets completely soused 20 minutes in to the show and does a seemingly remarkable job of holding his liquor.

Re: live at the bike archives
11/9/05 - Tim Phan flops a straight flush to another flopped flush. I'd been looking for this ep for a while. Good stuff! 45 minutes in for the hand itself. A $22k pot and a $27k pot within the first hour alone.

Re: live at the bike archives
They did shows (mostly afternoons) from the Gaming Expo in Vegas. Hopefully, they'll put these shows (minus all the dead spots) in the archives shortly.

Re: live at the bike archives
Tonight is Monday and the archives are not working, which is kind of depressing. I hope they get the bugs worked out of the system. It's been a rough month.

Re: live at the bike archives
LATB is rigged show is very entertaining. How do people like Jesus and Efraim even get that kind of money to just donk hundreds of dollars a hand on bottom pair? I can't believe that stuff is at higher limits, makes me wish I had a casino nearby I could take a shot at.
I've seen 2 of the Greenstein shows (don't know how many there are) and they were good for analysis and thought about the game. One was limit too so theres some variety, and Greenstein is practically giving a seminar in that one. |

Yes their are ways to make money outside of poker... From what I remember they are succesful outside of poker. |
