Ditto. However, I think most of the publicity that pokershare is getting is happening before the ME. There was a leading story on yahoo about the poker playing monkey.

Well judging from that video he's got Chris Moneymaker's skills and Mike Matusow's discipline, so I don't see why he couldn't play.

Wow, that was awesome. I understand that the whole thing is just a publicity stunt, but seriously, did they even try to train the monkey to play poker? You could take any random monkey from the zoo (no pun intended [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]) and he'd "look at his cards" if you handed them to him and "push" his chips, if you set them in a stack in front of him and pointed at them.

All,

I just emailed the contact address at PokerShare. They have received a verbal OK from Harrah's to make Mikey's entry happen, but they are still waiting to have it in writing. Methinks they won't get it in writing, but I certainly hope they do, I think it would be a riot.

That was horrible! I was too embarrassed for everybody involved to watch the end. I can't decide which is worse...the monkeys performance or the host's lack of preparation! Der.. how many do I deal?
