GameTime+ vs AceHud

Perhaps this question has been treated before, though I couldnt find any similar when I searched. I will post it in the General Gambling Forum as well, but it feels like there's more people passing through here.

Which software do you use and why?

PA HUD is far superior if you want to customize the stats.

I use GT+ becuase I've been to lazy to buy PA HUD yet. Altough of what I've read PA HUD is the better of the two.

I've got a question to those who use PA HUD, when you play on differents sites, does PA HUD store the location for the stats for different sites? When I use GT+ and play, say first on Party, then when I play somewhere else I have to rearrange the statboxes and vice versa. It's kinda annoying.

PA allows you to customize the layout for each site. You can export the lay-out for one site to another so once you get something that you like you can easily export it to all the sites that you play.

I use PAHUD because I tried to install gametime once and I did something wrong, so it didn't work. I gave up, got PAHUD and it worked easily right away.

Now I like PAHUD and don't feel like changing.

Full Tilt forces me to fix it EVERY time I open a new table...

Re: GameTime+ vs AceHud

I've used GT+ for a while since free is a good price. I don't run into problems with the stats rearranging as others have mentioned. This might be because I have a separate PT database for each site and GT+ is remembering the settings for each database. An unexpected benefit of separating the sites.

If you're looking just for VPIP, PFR%, and Post Flop Aggression, which has been about all I was using to date, then GT+ will suit your needs.

The past couple weeks I have been trying out PAHUD. I've been playing with different statistics, but I'm not sure they're accurate (i.e. c-bet%) or helpful to me personally. The flickering gets a little annoying on some sites but it runs really well on Party. If Party is your place, PAHUD is definitely a good investment.

I use both.
PAHud for Party/Empire/Stars/UB
GT+ for PokerRoom and skins

I really dont know...most dont think its gonna even make it to a vote this year but if it does it would be within the next few months and that just isnt enough time to pay for it and have it pay me back

gt+ makes my computer slow as [censored] so i use ace

Re: GameTime+ vs AceHud

There is really no comparison. PokerAce is way better and if you are playing at 50NL+ with GT+ instead you are burning money every session.

Re: GameTime+ vs AceHud

PAHUD, because it runs much more smoothly on my machine. Also, it instantly shows your opponents' hole cards, which alone is worth way more than the $25 when multi-tabling.
(It's been a while since I used GT+, but I don't recall it showing hole cards. If it does, then just ignore me. )
