Ricardo

So I thought Ricardo was like teh awesome. I want to buy a Ricardo shirt. However, I want his club shirt. Apparently, he plays for Sporting Clube de Portugal. The team website is out of shirts for sale. Anyone know of an internet site where I could get a Ricardo club shirt?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. All I can find are a national team shirt and a black match shirt from the England game (which is actually pretty cool)

But the green and white striped shirt from his club team is pretty cool and would be really unique to have. Watch him sign with a new club now that I look to buy one.

Re: Ricardo

Sporting's site [censored] up the translation, they do have the shirt the problem is that they will only ship after 30/06 because they're waiting for the official presentation of the shirt for the new season.
give me a couple of extra minutes and I'll try to find another site if you don't want to wait

Re: Ricardo

Does Ricardo have a history of excellence on penalty kicks? It seems to me that he could just gotten lucky in the England game (guessing right, pathetic England shots).

Re: Ricardo

Will the new season shirt be different?

And this one has his name and number on it, right? I like the home shirt more than the road shirt.

Thanks

nothing too extraordinary around here, he's getting a good record for the national team though.

clark: this is the shirt for the next season: http://www.sporting.pt/loja/images/P...iginal_200.jpg

you can buy it now but it will only ship out on that date, I didn't find any other site that had these. (and they don't have names and numbers on the back)

Cool. Do you have a link to the site so I can purchase? Also, this will have his name and number on it, right?

Thanks a bunch.

Re: Ricardo

unfortunately, they don't send them with names and numbers on the back

here although since the english version isn't working properly you'll probably need a little help with the translation, pm's might be better?

How many people are going to think this is a Celtic Jersey?

Oh, and out of curiosity, whose corporate logo is that (I think it seriously detracts)?

Portugal telecom (phone company). It sucks and all 3 of the title contenders in portugal have them on the shirts:

ugh, not a fan of the green and white stripes obviously. At least they aren't vertical.

Re: Ricardo

I'm thinking about getting a club jersey as well. I'd love a good, young player that preferably doesn't play for a hugely successful team.

Anyone fit this description?

Fallen Hero 07-09-2006 09:30 PM

Re: Ricardo

I'm sure JaredL will tell you to buy a Sevilla jersey (Jesus Navas, brilliant kid) and I think that's a good choice.
Myself as a Benfica fan will tell you to buy a Benfica jersey (Manuel Fernandes is a fantastic young player) and I think they're beautifull

We've discussed these players here

Re: Ricardo

Fernando Torres is one of my favorite players... what are the chances of him staying with Atletico for a while?

Fallen Hero 07-09-2006 09:42 PM

Re: Ricardo

For years it's been surprising me how he's still in Atletico but I don't think there's any talk of a transfer this year so you're probably safe.

Jack of Arcades 07-09-2006 09:47 PM

Re: Ricardo

a couple man u fans I know have been talking (almost disgutingly) about acquiring Torres, so I was wondering.

I would also suggest Fernando Torres (Atletico de Madrid) and David Villa (Valencia).

yeah, Villa was one of the others I was considering. Torres it shall be.

I am gonna say it, those soccer jerseys suck because they have those huge coporate names/logos. Thank God they don't do that here in the U.S.

Julio Arca, although he may well be at Espanyol by the time the season starts, you can then join in the revolution as we rebuild and return to the premiership, join us on the magic carpet ride.

Re: Ricardo

Wouldn't it be a bit daft to get this shirt with "Ricardo" on the back? Sporting's goalkeeper top might be more appropriate.
