Hi Everyone:

We're trying to address the issues that have recently been raised about some of these forums getting a little out of hand. It needs to be understood that Two Plus Two is a company that was built on integrity and quality, and our standards are uncompromising. In addition, the heart and soul of these forums is of course our poker/gambling sections, but we very much like the idea of community and that of course brings us to OOT.

When posting we all need to keep in mind the standards that this site requires. That is when you are thinking of making a post that is on the harsh side or extreme, we ask that you think again to consider if it is absolutely necessary. Specificly, hard core pornography links are inappropriate and we need to be more polite and professional towards our fellow posters. Of course, we do encourage vigorous debate, but that debate can happen without insults towards each other. So by volunteering to self-police ourselves we should be able to keep the flexibility in posts and to keep these forums a vibrant place with an outstanding community. And yes, these comment apply to all of www.twoplustwo.com.

I do find it amusing that I'm reading it under a banner ad for "Bonus Whores", and slightly disappointed that said ad no longer has a presumably copyright infringing picture of a porn star as it did for years...

This is especially true of message boards where most threads are along the lines of 'banging girls from myspace', 'dom, tell us more about porn' and 'tipping at restaurants'.

We had permission from the legal owner of that image to use it. No infringement done by us.

I think this is a very gray area. I consider my self an average ootoit and my idea of "acceptable porn" is probably a million miles worse than what Mason has in mind. I'll be happy when everyone remembers this is a poker forum. Everyone (including me) posts in all of the lame subforums rather than in the strat forums. MSLHE and HSLHE are wastelands anymore - especially the latter.

It is unfortunate posters don't exert as much energy on strategy as they do in the other forums. Toning down and eliminating some of the subforums could be very good for this. OOT should stay of course, but limiting it some is not a bad thing.

Although part of this may be that everyone wants to play NL, so all the people inventing hands and posting them in HSLHE are now doing so in HSNL.
