With Bart in Vegas, $5,000 poorer after the $5k NL debacle he posted about in the WSOP and BBV forums, Tuch will be going solo. Thanks for the link Station, I hadnt seen that post yet. I had only read Bart's BBV post and thought he had intentionally signed up for the 5k NL and somehow got the date mixed up. The fact he was regisetered for the wrong event really does suck. Truly bad beat Bart

Edit: Tuchman is right my first post was cruel. Until stations posted the link I didnt realize what had happened and now truly do feel for Bart.

Just got back from Vegas last night and ready for some LATB, saw Bart in the $2k LO8 event but he was gone by the time I came back later when it was getting closer to a break, not sure if he went broke by that point or got moved to another table

Sucks about the $5k NL mix up

So I'm 18 and I'm about to take my first vacation to California, however I was told by a Californian that some casinos have a gambling age of 21, not 18. Is this true? Also what casinos should I hit North of LA?

I just read about Bart's $5K mistake.

Just like poker....
1) Look at your cards before act. Look at your ticket before you leave the cage.

2) Don't bet on a three-club-flush with 2 spades in your hand. Play in the event you paid for...not some other event in the future.

Seriously, that's a bad beat Bart. The only other possibility is to plead your case to the winner of the $5k NL event and see if he's generous enough to give you some of his newly won million.

I belive the Indian casinos have an 18 age reqmt. The card casinos (Bike, Commerce, etc) are 21.

I think Dave does live in a cave, I figured almost everyone knew that Atlantic City shut down this morning, I guess with the holdiay he hasnt been on 2+2 so its understandable

off, this is true for most of the casinos/poker rooms around southern calif. I believe the Morongo Casino is 18+, so you probably should try that place. It's out in the desert, about 90 miles east of downtown Los Angeles as you head towards Palm Springs.
