In case you haven't done it yet go by the FTP booth and answer a few poker trivia questions and they give you a free bag. These bags have a # hanging off of them and if you can find someone else with the same # bag you both get a free IPOD nano. We can use this thread to help find others who may have the matching #. I've walked around quite a bit and only saw a few people with these bags. The rep in the FTP booth said they're trying like hell to give these things away because they have a ton, but so far haven't given many away.

My bag # is 3627 if anyone happens too have a match. My friend has 3628

Just the few numbers posted so far are sparodic and all over the place... no wonder they're having a hard time giving away the Nanos. Who the hell is gonna hunt someone down at the Rio for a bag when the range looks to be ~4000 numbers.

FYI, if you have n people post numbers in this thread and the range of numbers is m (e.g., m = 4000), then the likelihood that you'll get a match in this thread is approximately: 1-e^(-(m(m-1))/2n).

So with about n=75 people or so posting their numbers and m=4000 possibilities, there's a fifty-fifty chance some pair will get their ipods.

This analysis assumes that the numbers posted are uniformly distributed (if they are not, the probability of a collding pair goes up...)

sounds a little bit like a funny fake and the numbers maybe only count, how much bags they have give away.

the easier solution is to duplicate the tags and made a matching one to yours if they all indeed have matching numbers to them which they probably don't- i say take a shot at it or post a high resolution picture and maybe someone can make one for you [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I went to the expo today and found that whatever bags they have remaining are being used as one of the prizes on the wheel you get to spin after answering a question correctly.

I asked how many iPods had they given away "since the numbers look to be so far apart" (said it jokingly), and got hemming and hawing. Horribly done promotion.

Meanwhile in the suite, they're doing a raffle for a 2007 WSOP seat. Sign up and get a Full Tilt card protector.

I wish they were selling the fitted hats. I think they missed out on a boondoggle of $$$ by not having them available for sale.
