The green flag is where he started, the red flag is where he's at right now. He's gotten lost a few times because his map sucks. It literally says stuff like "turn left on the road with no sign". His hotel had been evacuated last night because of the flooding. Needless to say biking on the swamped roads has not been easy for him.

Ya I told him to get a GPS map. Hopefully he will come to his senses. bicycle maps aren't exactly available at every gas station you know. GPS maps are available at any computer.

congras. he sounds effed w/ it now though.

so i suggested. send bike home. flight to la. find surf school group. preferrable one that travels the coast/beaches and stays in different hostels each night [2p2ers can prob help w/ suggestions here]. do that. meet lots of cool people along the way. tan up. get some stories. use both to bang bitches in las when we get there.

pretty cool, but I would think that biking the east coast would suck. If he likes to bike there are some really, really great places out west and I'm sure he could make a huge roadtrip from SF to LA or something.

I agree. Bruiser if you aren't enjoying biking through the swamped NE consider this as an alternative journey. The west coast might be kinder to you. Whatever you do take a couple of days to mull it over. And buy a [censored] GPS!!!!!!!

If phones worked that way, then you have it backwards. You'd buy a phone on the East Coast and use it in the west because 9:00pm here is 6:00pm on the West Coast. But, the phone's time goes by the service area it's in. Hence your phone being on the correct time when you get off a flight from NY to LA.
