If I were playing higher than usual I'd probably never fold a pair either but man, you can't be good after that turn 3bet can you? I'd just bet/call.

lol! did he have Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

my line with your hand here is either, bet/call turn check/call river (i dont mind getting popped on that turn, imo its a retardo hand pretty often). or check call turn, check/pray he checks river.

Re: 77

If you are willing to call a three-bet on the turn, why not just call his first bet in behind and then lead a non-ace, non-paint river? It seems like you really wanted to get to showdown, but you took a circuitous route to get there. I understand that you don't want to get bluffed off the hand, but obviously you were playing at this table for a reason, and it wasn't to take money off this tag but rather someone else. Just play big pots with those other guys.

Wtf are you doing on the turn? Either bet/fold or bet/call the turn or check/call the turn. Why checkraise?

If I played this hand, this is how it would go. I would 3bet preflop, I would bet the flop, once im called on the flop and two flushdraws develop on the turn, I would check and call against an unknown and get to the showdown.
