Stars FPP, lame?

Looks like there are very few tourneys you can buy into with the FPP's (unlike the UB setup).
So, unless I want to use them to buy a bunch crap I don't want or need, what value do they have?

Or am I just completely missing something?

You can sign up for a barrage of WSOP, WPT qualifiers and several special tourneys. Check under the tourney, sit and go, and the event tab and all of them have listings for a variety of FPP events.

Not to mention the sunday 215's, 530's, many wcoop, WS, and WPT direct buyins, Pro SNG's, amazon GC's (almost cash), tons of great poker merchandise. Lets not forget you can name a f'n star!!

See, I'm saving up. I figure in about 3 years I'll be able to buy Moneymakers WSOP bracelet for about 500K points.

clicking on the 'FPP store' via the cashier page just shows a bunch of books and other crap you likely don't want.

but click on the VIP FPP Store button and you will see many more worthwhile items (from Amazon gift-cards to monitors and TV's to $215 and $530 MTT entries to WSOP entries, etc etc etc).

i'm assuming you already have the books and don't need another copy.

i'm talking about the books that you didn't purchase in the first place and the vast stars wardrobe.

This is incorrect. Best value, yes, but I think selling $500 Amazon GC's on Ebay is better. You can invest the money or something instead of waiting for 3mil FPP

What do the $500 gift cards go for on ebay? You just list an auction saying you have a gift card code?
