so while waiting to get into the 100 200 i sat in the twenty forty game. it was better than good. i cant see any reason a person could lose in that game.
so the kid next to me is going thru his chips as fast as an antelope being chased by a cougar.
just after i got a bunch of them i get called for the 40 80 game so off i have to go.
the kid was real nice and wasnt from around there so i thought i would be nice and give him some advice. so i told him maybe he should play in the smaller games as he was out of touch with the games here. so you know what he told me. get this. he said " you dont understand, i won a seat for a tournament on the wpt," as he showed me his jacket he got with the entry.
i just walked away.

"I gotta jacket too. It says Columbia on the front, and it was bought for me not by the WPT, but by you kids who had the WPT pay for theirs."
"That jacket is going to cost you a lot more than any north face jacket would ever cost."

Ray,

I'm not in the same league as you Ray, but why bother giving advice? Just say, "Wow, what a great jacket."

With the popularity of poker tournaments, the regular games have been great with these players sitting in. I hope it continues forever.

By the way, does the place have any good food?

bay 101 has decent food for a card club. and good service too. i believe its the best place to play and win money there is.

Like you weren't green with envy because you didn't win a WPT jacket. You should have asked how much he'd charge you for lessons. Then of course, you should karate chop him in the adams apple.

Hi Ray,

I've been busy working this new job for the past 2 years. They gave me a deadline of December 31st to get certified for working on their equipment. If I was not working, I was studying. Now, that I got certified on December 30, just in time, I can go back to playing poker.

It looks like I don't have to write a poker book either, since Harrington wrote two great books about no limit holdem tournaments. But, we need you to write a pot limit book. I'll ask Mason to advance you some money.

I don't like thick crust pizza. Thin crust with lots of stuff on it is good.

Oh yeah, don't choke on those cost co hot dogs. Who knows whats inside them.
