Do we have to put up with this the entire hurricane season??
 

OK, we all know Hurricane Katrina was a terrible storm and one of the worst natual disasters in American history. I'm not trying to minimize any of that.

But now the media is really getting ridiculous. Is every little storm dropping some rain really headline news?
I don't remember the last time a "tropical depression" was on the front page of CNN. Is it just me or is this a bit of overkill?
Yeah it rains alot in Florida during hurricane season....thanks. Should they really be freaking people out every other week with this stuff?

Definatley overkill. Hurricanes, while damaging, will happen again, and will continue to happen.
