Party Poker scam

Is everyone aware that it's Party Poker's policy to keep players change giving you no option to remove it from their site. I wonder how many thousands of dollars they make off of people who cannot withdraw their cents and just leave them on for Party to do what they want with. I was told at first that Neteller didn't allow you to withdraw cents which I found to be a lie and then Party decided to tell me it could have been a technical reason offering no resolution. I find this to be an unacceptable practice that needs to be changed. Basically, Party chooses to steal your money with no option at recourse. I'd like to hear some thoughts on this.

If you withdraw through igm-pay, or by check your get you change, just not neteller. This Neteller not getting change is the same with every site I've played at, including pokerstars, pacific poker, and ultimatebet.

It's not Neteller's doing. I was able to get all my money off Betfred, including the 32c in change. It's apparently the poker sites.

Quarters add up. I can see why Party and others make money off this scheme. There are probably literally millions of fish who log onto Poker sites (after watching WPT) and then bust out and never come back. All those leftover quarters add up to a [censored] of money. It's easy to think zillionares don't care about a few thousand here and there, but that's how they got rich to begin with.

No, you're right, its not, there have been a handful of the casinos that I bonuswhored that let me cash out the change to neteller. All I"m saying though, is that if you want the change, you can get it, either by cashing out with igm-pay, or by a paper check. So its hardly a scam. And its not just Party Poker that does it. If people are too lazy to cash out their change then thats their problem.

Pokerstars cashes out the change to neteller. The first class operation always gets its right.

Yes, hundreds of thousands of accounts with between .01 and .99 in them is a substantial sum of money, and party makes interest of it and such, but it's not that big a deal.

I mean, to each individual the money is not that much, you don't freak out when your bank charges you some .99 service fee every year, but multiply that across their millions of customers and blamo, major money.

Some sites will let you cash out change, Stars and UB come to mind, but alot of sites don't

You sure about that? Maybe its different for accounts that are/are not in the red? Back when I played at pokerstars, they always let you "cash out the change" but then like 30 seconds later, the change was returned to your account.

I was actually talking to a buddy about this the other day. Not the "scam" but if i could get all the change off sites i whored and never went back to I could have a free night out or something.

If you're worried about the change, just be sure not to leave any. Play a NL ring game and go all-in with your last 34 cents.

Really???

Even if you left .99 on each site there must be WAY more sites then I have come across to have enough for a night out.

Stars wouldn't let me cash out my change, so I built up my .8x to like 50+$ in their PLO micro games. Teach them who's boss.

you do realize that party never removes that change from your account right?

IT is always there, everytime you deposit you can play with it, so it really doesn't add up.

Neteller is the culprit here. Neteller won't transfer any change, only whole dollars.

when i drop some loose change on the floor i occasionally leave it there. no big deal. Let party have my 8 cents.

aren't there deposit fees and withdrawal fees that are covered by party? I don't think the 35 left over cents make up for those.

Stars / UB allow fractional dollars to be cashed out.

Most places don't allow the fractions to be cashed out, and sometimes even delays your cashout if you try. (Paradise / Full Tilt).

The worst though is Absolute, when you cashout the cents, they just disappear into nothingness.

Neteller is not the culprit. I already checked with them and they will take a transfer of any money amt

Makes no difference. You can cashout any fractional amounts to NETeller from Stars. This whole dollar NETeller limitation was changed several years ago.

That really PO'd me when they did that (more than it should a rational person). An angry email to customer service got it back though.
