Dead Guy in My Pool
(Not really my pool, I live in an apartment complex...)
I wake up at around 3:45 am out of a very deep sleep. It was one of those sleeps where you're actually surprised you were sleeping, and then, I'd only been out for an hour. I gotta piss, so I go to the bathroom where I see my male roomie's left clothes on the counter. I look in his room and he's not there. His computer's on, his bed's in disarray, etc. Something seems kinda fishy. Next, I walk into my female roomie's room. Completely empty, in the middle of the floor are all the clothes she was wearing that day, which is weird, because she normally doesn't get naked in her room. The door is unlocked, which it's NEVER unlocked, not if those two have something to do with it. I walk outside and I see that both their cars are there. So wtf is going on? I go back in and look outside my window, where I have a clear shot of the pool, and they're there with a bunch of other people and some cops. I went outside to talk to them, and best as I can ascertain: 1) Female Roomie somehow hears/sees guy drowning. Her roomie also has a view of the pool. 2) She realizes she has asthma and can't really swim, so she wakes up male roomie. they race out to the pool. 3) he jumps in to try to save the guy, but he's already dead. now, she was wet too, which means she jumped in. I'm not sure why she got him and still jumped in, but whatever. don't have all the answers yet, the guy died less than an hour ago (3:15 am central) so, uh, yeah. crazy. |

She gets undressed for sleep in the bathroom, and then goes into her room? If she's going to have sex in her room does she remain clothed, or does she have to go to the bathroom first and then she comes back naked? |
Re: Dead Guy in My Pool
Let's nit this thread up a little. These are your flatmates not roommates, you arn't sharing your room with them.
1) Was this a shared pool? 2) Dead guy live in the complex? 3) Did you know him? 4) Describe the corpse? 5) How do you feel? 6) I dare you to go for a swim. |
Re: Dead Guy in My Pool
uh... no, she sleeps with her clothes on. that's why it was puzzling to see all of her clothes on the floor, and she wasn't there.
|
Re: Dead Guy in My Pool
1) shared pool, yes.
2) guy lived in complex I'm guessing. he was alone at 3:15 am in the pool 3) didn't know him. 4) didn't see the corpse, got there too late, he was covered. 5) don't really feel anything, neither do my roommates. 6) I've never even swam in this pool and I've been hear close to a year. |

Re: Dead Guy in My Pool
OK, update, talked to the female roommate (it is a weird word to type. o-o-m-m slows me down):
Apparently there were two guys hanging out by the pool, they jumped the fence to get inside (closed after 9). neither of them could swim. one guy goes to get some things from his apt and comes back, the toher guy's in the pool struggling. he tries to get some people to help but no one answers, finally comes and gets my female roommate. she tries to get him but she has asthma and can't get too deep. so she gets the male roommate, who is able to get him but it was too late. |

[/ QUOTE ] How well do you know this roommate? Here's my theory. Your roommate gets the guy drunk, then gets naked and lures him out to the pool where she can drown him. |

Is the female roommate hot? Pls address this issue immediately.

so did 2 people who don't know how to swim break into the pool after it was closed, to swim?

[/ QUOTE ] It appears she is fully clothed in her 'normal' clothes, goes to her room to get her PJs, takes them to the bathroom and changes. standard operating procedure. We still don't know what the changing situation is when she has sex. |
Re: Dead Guy in My Pool
Female roommate who sleeps in clothes is one with sheets for a door?
Nice job guys, next time try this trick with a chick who sleeps in less. |

[/ QUOTE ] This makes no sense. Dudes A and B jump a fence to get into the pool. Dude B jumps the fence to go get "stuff" from his apt. Dude A gets into the pool (apparently in the deep end) but can't swim. Dude B jumps the fence (for the third time) and sees DD (Dead Dude) struggling in the water. Dude B jumps the fence (again) to run and get help. FR (female roommate) who can't swim and is reportedly naked, jumps the fence and tries to help. Dude B jumps the fence (for the 5th time) with FR. FR jumps the fence to go get MR (male roommate). Both FR and MR jump the fence to get back into the pool. So, the story doesn't add up. Both FR and MR are suspects. If they were both sleeping, they would have both awoken and helped immediately. If FR was awake, she would have woken MR or you (or both) to help. If MR was awake, he would have just gone right away. Who called 911? Why didn't the sirens wake you up? Who in their right mind locks a pool at 9:00pm during summer? When you looked in the parking lot for cars, was there an ambulance or cop cars around? This would be especially disturbing if you lived on a 2nd or 3rd floor. Where are the naked FR pics? There either was a 3rd party involved who split the scene, or Dude B is a liar who must be in pretty good shape. What with all the fence-jumping and whatnot. I couldn't rule out involvement by either FR or MR at this point either. Lock your door dude..... SgtMcSlack |
Re: Dead Guy in My Pool
I feel like half the responders don't understand that there is a male roommate whose clothes were in the bathroom, and a female roommate whose clothes were in her room. I don't know if people actually think your roommates were involved in drowning this dude, but if they actually wanted to kill someone they'd probably cover their tracks better.
f-ed up, though. |

I would think you could just thrash about and get to one of the sides of the pool. [/ QUOTE ] This is the first thing that I thought. I swam competitively and used to teach a beginners class (for adults not kids). Even the worst adult males with no swimming experience at all could somehow still make his way a few yards or so to the nearest wall. I'm not picturing an olympic size pool here, how deep is it? Plus what's up with another adult male who doesn't just reach for the guy or jump in? My apt pool is about 20 yards long and not every wide.. plus it doesn't have a deep end, it goes about 5 ft. I'm guessing it's made that way to prevent idiots from diving/drowning. |
