Software to detect cheating
I've experienced a lot of suspicious situations, like being dealt pocket aces and everyone folds including the BB, and I didn't even raise. And also, if I bet a legitimate hand on the flop, like I have KT and a king flops, my flop bet seldom gets raised. But if I have QT and bet the flop as a bluff when a king flops, I usually get raised. Somewhat suspicious.
I thought I would manually track these situations and this would conclusively tell me if others know what cards I'm holding. But the problem is I would usually remember to log the bad situations but might forget to log the good ones. What would be best is letting software do this analysis. And maybe it already exists. Does anyone know of such a product? |
Re: Software to detect cheating

I think this post is a suspicious situation... |
Re: Software to detect cheating
Yes, I have had this happen. And in general, anytime I have a hand like AA, KK, QQ the average number of opponents to the flop is lower than usual. Of course, I could be mistaken but I don't think so. Software to analyze my hand history should tell if I'm right,. Again, I would do it manually but I might forget to log some hands and skew the stats.

Re: Software to detect cheating
Is the OP serious? Like the out of his whole table, he would be the mark?

Re: Software to detect cheating
Search on google for "Poker Tacos Software" NO QUOTES and pick the second listing down. This should help your situation. Good luck!

Re: Software to detect cheating
I mean I would remember to log the times I bluffed with nothing and got raised but might forget to log the times I raised with top pair or stronger and got raised, because I wanted to get raised. When things go your way you tend to forget about them but remember when they don't go your way.

Re: Software to detect cheating
HMm...perhaps the number of opponents to the flop is lower than usual because you put in a raise? Wow i can't even believe I read any posts past the original. How sick I am.

Maybe he is been playing at Pro Poker or another black listed site....

Re: Software to detect cheating
....
Ok, so you hold AA. You now have reduced the likelihood of someone holding a hand like AK-AT. So, doesn't it follow that there will be a fewer number of expected players to the flop? Same reasoning goes behind KK and QQ, but to a lesser extent. What you are also noticing is human paranoia: you are not considering the times when your [censored] hands are folded to, but only big hands like AA-QQ because you feel cheated of the potential earnings the hand could have offered. -eric |
Re: Software to detect cheating
Yeah. I hate it when I limp and the BB folds.

This is very bad. I too wish that every time I hold AA I had 9 opponents to river. PS. How do you spell to MORON in spanish? |

PS. How do you spell to MORON in spanish? [/ QUOTE ] "Pendejo" works pretty well, and is quite applicable in this situation. Also, does anyone know where I can find the OP's software that he's obviously using to get everyone, including the BB, to fold? |
Re: Software to detect cheating
So the guy who's cheating against you is open folding his big blind instead of seeing a flop for free and risking catching a hand that could beat your aces? And you don't want to play more against this guy? Why?

Re: Software to detect cheating
Online poker is so rigged. This thread just proves it.

Re: Software to detect cheating
You need the Nishi Trace-Buster-Buster-Buster™, as advertised in "The Big Hit".

Re: Software to detect cheating
I will try to answer your questions.
[ QUOTE ] I've experienced a lot of suspicious situations, like being dealt pocket aces and everyone folds including the BB, and I didn't even raise. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, this CAN and DOES happen. If the BB is sitting out (which you may or may not be aware of, depending on the site) and has checked the post blinds and fold box (which is done automatically in tournaments), then even though you just call the BB, his hand will be folded. [ QUOTE ] And also, if I bet a legitimate hand on the flop, like I have KT and a king flops, my flop bet seldom gets raised. But if I have QT and bet the flop as a bluff when a king flops, I usually get raised. [/ QUOTE ] If you don't have a K, there is a greater probability that your opponent does. [ QUOTE ] I thought I would manually track these situations and this would conclusively tell me if others know what cards I'm holding. But the problem is I would usually remember to log the bad situations but might forget to log the good ones. [/ QUOTE ] That's human nature. We tend to think more about the times we get sucked out on than the times we do the sucking,as if we somehow DESERVED to suck out on others. [ QUOTE ] What would be best is letting software do this analysis. And maybe it already exists. Does anyone know of such a product? [/ QUOTE ] Poker Tracker records every hand and can show you statistics for each hand type and also statistics for each of your opponents. That should allow you to do the type of analyses you are interested in. You might want to ask your questions in the Beginners' forum. This forum is mainly repressed anger seeking outlets. |
