$16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
I've already checked SNGPT (results later maybe). I wanna know if you were in my shoes and had about 10 seconds to act push or fold.

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
It depends for me where HU is at. If HU just started I'll almost always push it. If I've just pushed 3 or 4 hands in a row I may let it go or if blinds are going up I may fold fold and push to get the next BB. My HU game is pretty weak so i'm interested to hear others opinions.

What do we think of the BB?
I fold against most opponents at the $16s. I don't need much better though. |

fold quickly

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
Definately depends on calling ranges, etc.
Depends on the nature of how 3 handed, bubble, and HU thus far has gone. Too general. Just because it's the 1st hand doesn't mean I will almost always push. It comes down to coming up with the appropriate calling range for your opponent, obviously. |

Ok NOW go check SNGPT

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
60%/40% is about optimal push/fold for HU if the blinds are a decent size, and the stack are the same size. As the stacks become unequal, it becomes correct to push more hands. Also most players will call less than optimally. You have less than half of villain's stack. All this argues for a push, as J3o is probably about a 60% hand.

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
I would just limp, ahve him raise over me,and then fold. Then, I would get AA next hand (well two hands later), limp, and then have him come over top of me and BUSTO- I win.

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
I think it's pushable.
If I thought my opponent had a large calling range (have I been pushing a lot recently?) I probably wouldn't push. I also would probably just complete if my opponent was particularly weak post flop. |
Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
Hahaha, I read that as JJ, and I was like "wtf is wrong with everyone?!"
I'd fold it if I'd been agressive, limp otherwise for the pot odds and your stack isn't so bad yet. |
Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
No this is not a push for me.

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
Why would you fold this give the pot odds and position, what am I missing?

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
Without consulting SNGPT fold.
After consulting SNGPT using 40% as the calling range it looks to be a fold. I think 40% is pretty accurate barring a read. |

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
Punch 40% into SNGPT and convert. You get 22+,A2+,K2+,Q9o+,Q5s+,JTo,J8s+,T9s
I routinely get called by all of these hands in these situations. Although I would make it K6+ at the above range its -.3 at the above range modified to be K6+ it's -.1 This is only +EV against a very tight opponent, and since OP gave no reads I have to assume the opponent is average and will call with a pretty average range |

no

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
Most people underpush and undercall HU. There are a couple of threads on the FAQ which are well worth reading. If I recall, the strategy of just pushing all-in every hand is not so bad, and most people do not play as good a strategy as that, many by a large margin. Check out the FAQ!

Re: $16..Don\'t Check SNGPT (I already did) is this a push for you?
I would push this against all but the loosest callers.
However, if opp will raise less than half of his hands here, completing is better. |
