If we took 50 Million random Males and knew exactly how many times they had sex in their life and how many times the beat off in their life. What do you think the ration of Sex to beat-off would be?

Assume every man was born in 1925 and died in 2005

I think it hurts that we are talking about people born in 1925. I'd say of the "born in 1925" group, the ratio could be like 50:1 but of the born in 1970 group (die in say 2050) group, the ratio might be more like 500:1.

Say you beat off 3 times a day (Not gonna happen!) everyday from the time you turn 13, to the time you turn 18. Thats nearly 5,500 times!

So the Day you turn 18 you find a girlfriend and start banging that same day. You do it once a day for 11 days without beating off. That would be 500:1 correct?

Lets Assume someone has sex every 5 days from the time they turn 21 to the time they turn 45. Thats about 1750 times.

So from the time you were born, til the time you died, you had sex 1750 times, you would have to beat off 875,000 times, or about 30 times a day for the ratio to be 500:1

Someone please correct me if I am wrong because I am probably way off with my math


EDIT: I realize some people have sex before they are 21 and after they are 45. I also realize that some have sex more than once ever 5 days and some have sex fewer than once every 5 days. Im just using this as a scenario to show how unrealstic 500:1 would be for the AVERAGE Male

This is a great question. I have to disagree with a lot of the posters throwing out numbers like 500-1 or even 80-1.

I've got to think that until recently jerking off was frowned upon by society and probably wasn't as prevalent as it is today. I'd say that for gen x-ers it's probably something like 40-1 and for the whole of males since 1925, I'll say 25-1.

Started pounding the bone in 7th grade roughly 18years ago...Ive probably on average pounded it 3 times a week since then...obviously a ton when I was younger and less with age so thats 936 weeks or 2808 preactice sessions...

figuring in I was devirginized at 17 then hit a cold streak and then was on fire for a while yada yada probably had sex 100 or so times so 28.8 to 1 .... its about right (unless Ive pounded my bone much more than that which is quite possible)
