I think Casino Banco would be the main game in town. But I've been gone a while so may no remember correctly. Its picture was gold with a peacock on it. You could prob get better answers on www.expats.cz or ask people there. There are very few games though.

Of course this is a good idea in theory. Only problem is I have already prepaid european vacation, and my wsop package is pre arranged. So the schedule is tight.

I have a few days in Cobenhagen (23-25/6). Maybe that would be a bether choice...

Hi Blopp,

does it have to be Prague?
Why not come to Vienna? At the Concord Card Casino we offer both NL Cashgame (small limit though) and PLO (from €100 to €1000 minimum buy-in) and have daily Holde'em tournaments. If you can't change your travel arrangements maybe rent a car or come by train and stay for one or two nights. Vienna is about a three hour drive from Prague.

If you are from Europe, Prague may not be that big a deal.

I would think playing poker would be an interesting tourist experience. You find out the games they spread and what the poker rooms are like. You also interact with the local people.

Here speaks someone who lives in a city with a gazillion casinos. You underestimate the novelty of playing if you can't play anywhere near where you live - and I certainly wouldn't want to play live for the first time in a WSOP event. If he's there for a week he has plenty of time to play poker a night or so and also enjoy Prague to the full.
