Greatest television poker ever! Phil H. gets blasted by Dannemen
 

Wow maybe this is repeat and has been posted before but this was the best ever.

Firs Mattusow calls helmuth a nit and has been then Steve dannemen(2nd in wsop to hachem) calls him a punk ad says act like a gentleman. ANd nobody should by his products.

This was tournament of champions i think on espn. It is still currentyly on til on west cost. Last three mattusow, hellmuth, corkins. Oh and they all declared war on each other lol.

Yes, discussed previously.

Welcome to several months ago. I've seen it about 17 times I think thanks to all the ESPN re-runs.

But I agree that it was pretty awesome.

Dannemen was completly in the right. Phil Helmuth is a joke, he's like a professional wrestler and has to work his "gimmick" every chance. He even has his own costume!! Does he ever change I could see him sleeping in his sunglasses.

It seemed to me like Dannenmann and Matusow went to the table intending to flame Hellmuth at every turn. I thought his outburst was weak.

Well i think dannemen was right to start and we all want to say that top hellmuth. But i think he might have went a little too far over the top and maybe a bit gimmicky himself as others said. I must admit i loved it and was rooting him on but he did go little far maybe. But phil deserves it for his past behavior.

Dannenmen acted like a total douche. It was hilarious seeing him try to punk Hellmuth and end up making himself look like an ass instead.

I'd give more Dannenman more slack on his blast on Phil H. However, it seemed that his comments was premeditated before Phil H. got sloppy with stacking his chips. Steve Dannenman has shown wayyyy too much manlove for Mike "the Mouth" Matusow. It's not just at the WSOP TOC but, apparently at the US Poker Championship.

Besides those 2 events, has anyone seen Dannenman go out of his way to complement Mike Matusow? At the US Poker Championship, Dannenman kept calling Matusow the best player at the FT of the WSOP ME.

Discussed to death in previous threads with TOC originally aired.

Dannemen had a valid point about acting professional, however nothing Helmuth did (shown anyway) should have made it rise to the level that it did, there were probably a few incidents over the tournament that caused Dannemen to have built up annoyance OR he thought it would make good TV.

Actually yesterday was the first time i saw this. Dannenman was out of line. Whats the big deal? He was going crazy for no reason.

Dannenman is the MAN....pure and simple!!! He's also a good friend of mine. He has a picture in his office of him/Hellmuth and there is a caption on the bottom of the picture saying, "The Punk, Hellmuth."

Danneman = HUGE tool.
Sick of his Disney World act, he needs to just stfu and play. What really pissed me off about that whole scenario was how he is blowing up at Hellmuth for slowing the game down (When hes not) and he [censored] brings a list out at the WSOP and wastes time declaring why hes going to fold.

Yes you got a point. Phil is a tool as well though. Before he was teleision famous he had tirades and i once saw him cry at an empty table after going broke in one of the smaller events at series back in 98. But he definately is gimmicky now and plays more to the tv thasn even before.

Well we all love him for that outburst, and it will get him more famous which is what it looks like he was trying to accomplish. But we're not stupid we know its part gimmick.
