Right, he & I talked about his early tourney failure last night. Set over set - busted out in less than an hour. I mean the tourney that they had today. After he won the 1st part of the double-shootout, he mentioned he was gonna be back today for the tournament.

And yes, I watched their shows. It's funny watching them. Cody was 100% OPPOSITE of his "normal" game. Apparently he thought his LAGtastic game wasn't a good idea in a bigger game. And as far as Orlando goes/went, I'm amazed that noone noticed that only when Orlando had a real hand did he ever make a real-sized bet the whole two nights. Amazed that he got paid off on some of the hands he did. More bad play from everyone else (the 2 seat calling station and, that night, Barry) than his play. It was fun to watch and interesting when I play against them now [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Oh, ok I gotcha. You thought someone posted the results for today's tournament in the thread from L@TB last night and bumped the thread. Now I see what you're saying. I was highly confused how you would think someone would have the results yesterday for a tourney that hadn't happened yet.

Hey LA guys or Bart/Tuck,

I notice that the dealer puts all the tips into his tray instead of a personal drop box like I'm used to seeing. How do they figure out the tips at the end of the night? Do counts at the beginning/end of each night and subtract buy ins?

I don't mean to be a nit, but this is something you've said a few times in the last few nights and I think I'll comment on it. You've said something to the effect of "Corp. Mike makes these negative EV plays..." In reality, they're -EV for you, -EV for me, and -EV for most people. But they aren't -EV for Corp. Mike as he's, well, just a machine. And with EV being entirely subjective on the individual, I think it's a disservice to Corp. Mike's game (which has gotten blazing in the last month especially) to call his plays "-EV" when, in fact, they are +EV *for him* ... and that's what matters, as he's playing his cards.

All the money in the dealer's tray is their OWN money. That's why they carry it from table to table. When they start their shift, they buy chips to fill the tray to make change. At the end of the night, they just cash it out. It's one of the major differences between dealing poker in Calif. and dealing in a lot of other places, including Vegas.
