I've heard from others that this guy was a real jerk but I had never really seen him play before until the Heads-up tourny on NBC.

Last week he reached into the muck against DN. This week was even worse.......he had JJ and Forrests' K8 and didn't raise pf. Sure enough, a K flopped and he went all in. When he saw he was a big dog, he started whining and knocked over all his chips,shoving them disgustedly towards the pot and saying something to the effect of "here,take em, I don't want them".....And then a Jack feel on the river and he looked like an even bigger idiot bc he had nothing to say. NBC showed snippets of all his crazy card thrwoing, chip throwing etc.......talk about a real black eye for poker.

Poker on TV is like professional wrestling. It's not rigged but the producers know that they need good guys and bad guys to keep the average viewer entertained.

I know there are lots of sore losers who play poker but u would think that being on national TV, one would be able to accept losses graciously.The fact that he can't, tells me he's not a very good player. Even though Hellmuth is a big suck, at least he doesn't muck dive, throw chips and cards. He might tell someone that they made a horrible play and whine to himself but thats about it.

I stand by my comment. In general, people who have poor control of their emotions tilt more often and obviously play worse. Case in point, Sheikhan going all in with J7 shortly after Forrest hit his 2 outer.

I saw Sheikhan playing at Cesar's last week and he can be a loud mouth douche. He's a star you know but just in case you don't, he'll tell you that he is. I wasn't impressed with him personally. BTW, The Cesar's daily tourney is awesome.

I was more appalled by how likely it is that this daughter might be receiving all kinds of pressure to be unrealistically successful in tennis.

But to say that your 10-year-old is hotter than Anna Kournikova is just weird.

He loves his daughter, Bob. Do you have kids? If so, do you think they are ugly, or is it impossible to see them as anything other then the most beautiful creature on this planet. Should he of instead said "my daughter loves tennis, she's not very good right now, she's also not really lookable" - wisen up.

I have a slew of kids. I can't ever see myself saying "She's hotter than _______________." But I understand what you're saying. Always be proud of them and yes we look at them through rose colored glasses.

I think Sheikhan is being sponsored/promoted as the new "bad boy of poker". Or at least trying to create the persona himself. No one is that bad, or at least can't hide it a little.
