Poll: What to call the World Poker Exchange
 

OK, I know this is kind of a lame poll, but the issue is bugging me.

We all know that the World Sports Exchange has a rake-free poker site called the World Poker Exchange. We all know that the World Sports Exchange has for a long time abbreviated their name WSEX primarily so that the word SEX is in their name. The World Poker Exchange client software has the name WorldPx.

Obviously we're not going to spell out World Poker Exchange all the time, so I want to see if there is any consensus on what it should be called.

If you think this issue is unbelievably lame, just don't vote.

The easiest and best way to refer to it verbally, IMO, is "wsex," pronouced "wuh-sex."

have you actually used the WSEX sports client? they are one of the most no-frills, unsexy and generic sportsbetting sites in the business (a good business at that however).

I don't think you can find a single picture of a woman on that site, much less a half-naked one enticing people to bet. the fact that the abbreviation is WSEX is a mere, and un(s)exploited conicidence.

Yeah, this needs to be defined, for ease of posting, but also for searching purposes and the like. Annoying as hell to have to search for threads based on 12 different ways to refer to the same site.

The first part is true, the second part is not. I wanted to know if there was any strong consensus about what it should be called. So far it looks like there's not. And I didn't expect a lot of positive attention (or any attention) from the post, I just wanted an answer.

To the naysayers: None of you looked at the poll results, right?

All right, I think this poll is done. The consensus seems to be ... there is no consensus. WPEX "won" but it didn't even get a majority.
