ok, so a keg of beer is 15 gallons, and thats 128 ounces per, so around 120 sixteen ounce beers.

Who thinks this can be done, and who is willing to put engage in wagering on such?

3 and a 3/4 beers 12oz, per hour for 48 hours straight. Say you sleep 8 hours a day, thats abotu 6 beers an hour, for 12 hours each day. Possible, tough as [censored], but I wouldnt put a whole lot of money on it.

It's roughly 80 12oz beers a person for 48 hours. I actually think the half kegs they sell in the liquor stores are 15.5 gallons, though... which ups the ante only slightly (what's another half gallon between two guys when they've just split 15 gallons?).

So, with 2 beers down an hour... room for six hours of sleep... this is seemingly possible.

Picture goodness is always appreciated... and heck... I might even snap the shots myself.

yeah, i know. Beer is bad. It will be some light beer, but still, this is guarenteed to be at least 7000 calories in two days.

However, im doing quite well other than that. I usually put around 7 miles a day on the exercise bike, and am eating quite healthy.

ok. So we're talking 40/day apiece. And both are big guys. This is very doable. I used to have 40-beer days pretty regularly and I'm not a big guy.

I've witnessed a few people do the 100 beer challenge (between 6pm Friday and midnight Sunday), so I believe it's possible, but very difficult.
Those were 12 oz bottles, so 6 hours less and basically 160 12 oz beers, or 80 each. Yeah, you can pull it off.
Keeping it cold and making sure it doesn't go too flat will be an achievement unless you have a good kegerator/co2 setup.

These guys did it in 56 hours. They are pretty bad drunks and the goal was to do it in 2 1/2 days. I think 48 hours is possible but, it is close to a superhuman feat. I applaude anyone who even tries this.

example 12 hrs drinking 8 sleep, 12 hrs drinkin 8 sleep, 12 hrs drinking 8 sleep, 12 hrs drinkin 8 sleep = 48 hrs drinkin with 32 hours sleep.....this is possible I think

but NO WAY 48 hours non stop drinking ...ill assume vomiting is disqualification also

My friend had a half keg race. 5 on 5. He ended up going to the hospital. He had a BAC of .39. Doctor wouldn't believe he was drinking just beer as it was still before noon. He's my old college roommate. The phone call I got was pretty hillarious
