I'm going to sticky this, because I don't want any of you kiddos getting lost in NY.

Post here if your trying to find 2p2'ers, you need rides somewhere, you hurt yourselves, your drunk, or whatever.

I'll be there Wednesday afternoon. Comedy will ensue.

Just a few quick reminders, here's a schedule of things that are currently planned.

Wednesday evening - 7PM - 2p2 meetup at the steakhouse for dinner.

200$ MTT - Wednesday Morning 10AM
300$ MTT - Thursday Morning - 10AM
500$ MTT - Friday Morning - 10AM
1000$ MTT - Saturday Morning - 10AM

I didn't trust myself to get to the airport in time for my 9:15AM flight, so here I am by my gate with my $8/24hr internet purchase in the ATL Airport. I arrived here at 2AM. I am a sick bastard. Probably will watch Kill Bill 2 on the plane.

I'll be in Turningstone-ville around noon.

my flight leaves at 9 central, touches down at 3:30 eastern.
limo set up for 4:15; probably check in around 5.
then it's time to hit the tables! supersatellite at 7, cash games afterward depending on how i feel. i may sleep early that night, but if not i plan to play well into the evening.

New poker room is pretty nice, much bigger, pretty open, recognized most of the dealers.

need a couple hours sleep though. then probably gonna play online till the 50+10/$20 rebuys/addon sat.

i found

"Ye Olde Pizza Pub"

which is open till 10 each night except saturday (or maybe it was friday). Might be an interesting place to go get some food.

also theres a bowling alley.

I think I'm gonna come if I can find somewhere to do laundry first without going home (and by somewhere I mean someone PM for volunteers!)

Hopefully I'll be there on wednesday, hopefully getting a hotel at the last minute wont be a problem.

Yo, I am sort of confused about money. Should I go to my bank here and just take out like 10 gs and bring it in cash to the casino? Will I be able to withdraw a few thousand in a casino ATM? Or would someone let me transfer on stars/party/ub for cash IRL?

Just my two cents but last time I went to Vegas I just wasn't that experienced with money and hadn't planned ahead. I ended up trying to withdraw 5k or so at Bellagio and ended up having to pay 60 bucks for an advance.

I told myself from now on I would go to casinos with cash in hand.

Having been to turning stone as well I'm thinking you should bring cash with you and use the atm to withdraw small amounts, I don't know the limit there but I doubt you can just take out 5k or so, but I have taken out 1k I believe.

DO you really need 10k that seems like a lot?

You could probably just give a bunch of cash to the cage and withdrawl it from there as you need it if you don't feel comfortable walking around straight gangsta yo. Or you could even buy some high denomination chips and just keep those instead of the cash.

That is the reason I didn't bring money originally. If you search the b&m threads, they talk about bringing money to casinos and most of them just bring cash.

I would just get a travel pouch, the kind that slings around your neck. I've taken that train many times and its pretty safe.

If you are going with a bunch of twoplustwoers, and if you are still uncomfortable, just take like 3k and if you need more transfer some online to one of your friends there in return for cash at ts.

Please bring cash to this event, Turning Stone has a new poker room and there will be a lot of high stakes cash games running (25/50 nl, 50/100 nl etc.) From what I know, almost all the hotels are sold out for these events; there will be a lot of action at Turning Stone this week.

New pokerroom is VERY nice. Tons of room, more tables, etc. So what does that mean I'm doing? Playing a $50 PLH on Stars in a pitch black room, watching fight club, with 3 other ppl in the room. 2 are sleeping another is playing online also.
