Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
I'd say Paul Darden because he looks pretty tough and Dutch Boyd cuz he probably fights dirty.
|
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
id like to fight mike matusow or phil helmuth
|
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
Michael Davis. He'd probably win and I'd never live it down.

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
that would be too easy, their punk ass bi*****es. I would like to go for TJ Cloutier in his prime. It'd be a knock down drag out fight- "kickin and a gougin in the mud and blood and the beer" Johnny Cash

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
I think the only players I could win against are David Negraneu and all the women. I think the two I'd fear the most are Paul Darden and Kathy Liebert

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
definitely Sup Bro.
|
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
I don't think I'd want to get Todd Brunson too mad at me. I've never seen him when he didn't look furious at something. Hey...you're Todd Freakin' Brunson. Smile a little....

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
I wouldnt want to fight Daniel N. It wouldnt feel right.
|
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
Brunson for sure. The dude looks like a pissed off bear.. all the freakin' time. In their prime I'm sure both Doyle and T.J. would have been tough as nails.
Raymer as well. He's a big guy but he looks solid under that mass. Raymer vs. T. Brunson Poker Celebrity Death Match! |
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
TJ Cloutier, in his prime or not.
and Freddy The Angry Deeb. |
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
I always thought Amir Vahedi looks like he might whoop somebody's ass.

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
I wouldn't want to fight ZeeJustin. I imagine a couple of ZeeJustins would sneak up and hold me from behind, while the rest of the ZeeJustins punched me and kicked me from the front. It wouldn't be a fair fight.

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
Hellmuth, he's a big guy, same goes for TJ.
And Sheiky, he's just an animal |
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
Doyle Brunson carries a switch blade.

In fact there was a thread that kind of got hijacked before and it came to this. Todd replied on here saying that the majority of the time he was on TV it was him busting out and he was obviously pissed off. |

Eskimo Clarke. Because after he beat you up he'd ask to borrow $500 and sleep on your couch for a year. |
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
For some reason I want to fight Joe Sebok
|
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
It would be really embarrassing to get beat up by most pro poker players. I can't imagine having to deal with the abuse after getting beat up by Daniel N, Scott Fischman, etc. (or anyone who used to be a magic player)
It would almost be worth it to get beat up by Scotty Nguyen or Men The Master to hear the trash that they would talk after beating you up. |
Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
It's hard to appreciate just how scary TJ is until you see him in person. The man is a truck.
But my money would be on this guy vs. any other poker player: http://www.pokerpages.com/pokerinfo/...-reggie-02.jpg = http://sherdog.com/fightfinder/Pictures/reggie.jpg |

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
Let's end this thread now, it's not even close. Bryan worked with me years ago as a shift manager in arizona. Now he plays poker and prances around a steal cage. He also made a WSOP final table a few years back.

[/ QUOTE ] that really doesn't mean much in real life... i'd fight marcel. on a sidewalk. face to face, and then just go...i haven't had any kind of training, but i'm 6/2, 235, and have been in a 'couple' fights in my life.. technique versus size/strength...it'll be the person that can take a punch that wins.. |

Re: Which poker player would you not want to get into a fight with?
Any individual much larger than average (Phil Hellmuth, Howard Lederer, Todd Brunson, Greg Raymer) is going to be extremely difficult to defeat in a fight by the average male.
The majority of posters on this site are males in college and probably weigh on average 160-170 lbs. Hellmuth is probably 6' 5 or 6' 6 and is not a beanpole. Why some posters think that he'd be easy to defeat in a fight is beyond me. |
