5/10 Bellagio Bottom Set

Hero is UTG+1 ~900, CO ~800 and Button ~1000, CO has pulled some plays before but is overall solid, Button just came from the must move so no reads yet.
Hero limps with 22, 3 limpers, Button raises to 50, all call. 5 to the flop.
Flop 10-3-2. I check, CO bets 200, Button raises to 400...hero folds.

I think I played this terribly, but my gut told me that I thought I was beat here and that with 3 other limp-flat callers I might be running into the nastiness. I know its very weak, but can anyone justify it?

wow button's preflop and flop raises are disgusting - you're really worried by them?

my initial reaction here is why are you limping/calling pf if you're going to fold on a dry flop when you set

Why the hell are you calling if you're not going in when you hit the only thing that's there for you to hit.

No. Button has to have exactly TT here unless you think he's raising 33 after limpers. And you think CO is leading with a set.

I just ship it and rebuy if someone has a higher set. I doubt button is folding an overpair with half his stack in already so I think you missed a good chance to stack him.

Good, wait till you flop quads then move in.

I mean I'm not much of a high stakes player but I would never fold a set on a dry board for 90xBB.

OP,
I see that your name is Brian. Why would your parents name you Brian when you are obviously a scared little girl?

Lemme guess, they got the money in and showed 33 and TT so you actually made the best fold EVAR

No one usually folds this barring some sick read, if you happened to see TT/33 this time nice fold. I don't see what you're asking from this post though since you should assume everyone is calling this.

Pretty ironic. I normally read the mid stakes but thought "I'll check out the hi stakes and see if I can take my game to the next level."

This is the first post I read.

If you only post in midstakes you can't possibly understand this fold.

Haven't you guys read SuperSystem??? Sets in unraised pots = worst hand

OP: nh

If you ever played the 5-10 game at the Bellagio you would understand how bad this fold is. His hand is good here almost every time.

I'd like to thank everyone for the responses I got, even if some of there were just sarcastic slaps in the face like calling me a little girl. On second thought I don't thank anyone for that because it did nothing to explain your point. Yes, I was playing higher than I normally do but I wasn't uncomfortable with the ammount of money on the table, I have played for those stakes before. I thought my fold was pretty terrible and did not get to see the cards as the CO folded to the mini-raise. To make it worse, the next hand I had QQ in a similar 5 way raised pot, came down Q 10 6, check to trap, CO from previous hand bets into it, Button raises all in, I call all-in, CO calls with 10-10 and catches the case 10 for quads and so I went almost broke on the next hand, took a 5 minute break, came back, hit a set of 4s and lost to a diamond draw. It was a rough stretch of 10 minutes and the 2-2 hand had me scratching my head all night more than losing top set. In any event, thanks for the responses.

Re: Results-Next hand

Let's look at IF you called the 22 hand. Your stack is ~2k. You mentioned the CO was the same in both hands, so if he didn't rebuy before the QQ hand - you lose about 1/4th of your stack - still at $1500. But instead, that hand cripples you.

The way the 22 hand played out... the ONLY reason I check that flop is if I'm going to CR all-in. As it turned out, you got a guy to fire at the pot and the original raiser to raise his JJ or QQ. You called 50 preflop to hit your 2, right? If he has 1010 or catches an overpair, so be it... I push.
