What poker sites enforce an english only at the table rule?

It's not a matter of racism or anything like that, I just want to know I'm not being cheated. Every casino I've ever been to enforces this rule, as well as any home game I've been to. I know Titan Poker does as well. What other websites enforce it?

I'll be draining my WSEX account shortly due to them not enforcing this rule. Especially when I can read basic spanish and see words representing cards coming up. Cheating is hard enough to avoid online, I don't need it right in front of my face.

most of the major ones. paradise and prima for sure as i have seen mods give warnings. there are some small non-english sites, mostly euro.

Why would it be racist? Language knows no race, look at the USA. It's simply common sense.

I only added the racism thing because on WSEX I was made out to be the bad guy for asking for english only to avoid cheating. Somehow my request turned into an American bashing debate. I listened to how our education system sucks, we're simple minded, blah blah blah but all I wanted was a fair game. Since they argued with me in english I saw no reason why they had to make things so difficult. I've never been to a casino that didn't enforce english only, but suddenly I "Hate spain"

I hate Spain, with their good looking girls and constant nice weather. Damn their eyes.

PokerStars enforces English only, incidentally.

If you mean they're shouting, "Clob! Clob! Me vanna clob!", then they'll say it in English, in any case.

If they're saying something like, "Me hev quattro clobs oont me nid anuzza clob, zo rez eem owt, Pedro, mon ami!" then they're cheating in any language, and you should report them.

But it's better on screen than on aim, I always say.

meh, report 'em, but if you can read what they're saying, i imagine that's pretty hugely +EV

The rule is sort of pointless since on a computer (compared to a casino) it is so easy to just set up an IM channel.

I know collusion happens regardless but I don't want it in front of my face. It's insulting. Anyway, I can't play on Stars, registered wrong and they refuse to let me fix the info. Any others?

Cut out of the chat window what they are saying and have it translated by google or something.

Yesterday at Commerce, I found myself saying "English only at the table please", to the dealer.

last year i played in a casino in texas. it was on a small indian reservation near the mexican border. (the only cardroom in texas "thanks" to Jack Abramoff.) anyway, while i was waiting for my seat i overheard a couple guys speak spanish and i thought "i hope they dont try and pull that while im seated. ill have to say something."

once i got seated i realized there was only one other anglo there and the rest were native american and mexican/mexican-american. for them spanish was their primary language. if i had made a request for them to speak english i would have gotten laughed out of the room. about 60% of the table talk (including dealer's) was done in spanish. when the floor was called over to settle a dispute at one point it was done in spanish.

not particulary germane to the original post, but i always thought it was interesting story.
