Can the mods ban Dead from this board?
 

I am a huge yankees fan. Dead makes it impossible to talk reasonably about baseball and attacks people who attempt to. Can we ban him before he ruins this board?

Dead sucks period. However he in no way should be banned as long as sucking is his only offense. If you don't like him, ignore him period.

just start an official yankees thread, and put in the title, no Dead. If he responds, we will all just ignore him.

i have about givin up on having baseball discussion here. it doesnt even matter if the issue pertains to the yankees. he will jump in and say "he sucks, arod is better" and somebody will respond to him etc.....

granted, i like to rib the yankees and the fans but he is just super annoying and brings the conversation to a 5 yr olds level.

i suppose the best thing to do is what TSC suggested.

well, it'd be kinda harsh, but I suppose you could just start ignoring those that respond to him.

Next time a moran responds to Dead, tell'em you are putting them on ignore because of it. Seriously, what are the chances that poster can contribute something useful if he thinks responding to Dead is worthwhile?

There's quite a few red sox fans who are very solid posters. They like to get into arguments with dead, so ignoring them would not be a great idea.

Do you think there's a single person who would miss you if you stopped posting on 2+2 altogether? You have over 6700 posts and in that time have contributed absolutely nothing of any value to this forum at all (that in itself should get you kicked for wasting that much space).

You made the statement that NYY and BOS suck. I think it is safe to say that if that statement is true then SF really sucks; with or without Bonds. Also, I am not a bandwagoneer. I grew up in Houston so I am an Astros fan and lived in Boston for 5 years and that did tend to make me a BOS fan.

People keep asking me that question, Dead. I've answered it more than a few times, but I'll do it just one more time.

More than a few people wrote me and posted messages asking me to stick around the forums. So I always figured I would come back and post every so often. I did a lot of other stuff for awhile, and then I got sick and bored.

FYI I am not going to be banned, because I'm not breaking any rules. If people don't want to hear what I have to say then they can put me on ignore, but only a few people actually do have me on ignore. It is easy to check if someone has you on ignore or not, as I'm sure you know-just hit send private message and it won't let you send them one if you are being ignored.
