Win Rate Threads are Stupid
I would like to know what a good win rate is at various limits. Obviously we all know we can improve but it is difficult to know by how much. Usually you can't ask these questions without it degenerating immediately. Therefore, here is a poll and we can fill it anonymously and not compare penis sizes.
I would suggest a minimum of 50k hands for any level you choose to answer and if you have over 100k hands maybe just the hands from the last 6 months. Let's do it in PT BB's. Thanks to anyone willing. |
Re: Win Rate Threads are Stupid
I started saying a minimum of 20k hands because I thought the more data the better but I have changed to 50k for quality over quantity.

You should edit quickly to include a show the results option.
edit: uhm, guess it's too late |

Re: Win Rate Threads are Stupid
No one has higher then 10 at any of these........
8 is probably the best you can keep...... I know 1 5-10 player with 8.2, and one 10-20 player with over 8. |

Re: Win Rate Threads are Stupid
There's also a view results button you can use. As the name implies, it allows you to view the results.

Re: Win Rate Threads are Stupid
what's the difference between PTBB/100 and Pokeroffice PT/100?
I know that PO is Big Bets/100, and therefore 2x big blind, andI've heard that PT is Big Blinds/100, but also something about Bit bets (???)/100, which are essentially 4 big blinds(???). Anyone??? |
Re: Win Rate Threads are Stupid
I don't know what the [censored] a bit bet is and I think you made it up. But in nl big bets are the same size as the big blind so if pokeroffice lists the winrate as 2xbigBlind then it's the same as ptbb (pokertracker). Did that make sense? I don't use PO so I'm assuming you're right about it being 2x the big blind. Pokertracker is definitely 2x the bb.

I SWEAR I didn't make up "bit bets"; a frequent poster here told me it. I will either NOT out him if he sends me $5 on stars or WILL out him if someone else sens me $10. Re: Win Rate Threads are Stupid
"Bit bets" is a typo. Notice how the "t" and "g" on your keyboard are close together.
