Re: Adam Freidman...

He's obviously a good player, just picked a really bad time to let his emotions go with an ESPN camera on super closeup of him. That circuit series is pretty weak, 67 and 87 players?

What are those numbers next to the prize money? 168,140,112, etc.

Why is there POY points awarded for the $1.5k event and not the $5k event? $5k event even had more runners... Weird.

Pokerpages.com shows Pat Poels won the $1,500 event and the $5,000 event is a S.H.O.E. event which is going on now.

What dates were these tournaments played?

Re: Adam Freidman...

And your ego spews forth more cocky nonsense, I forgot exactly what he said, but it was pretty stupid coming from a n00b to high stakes poker, I give him 2 years to go broke.
Sorry, but the # of cocky early 20somethings is laughable, 2 years of play (or less) and you think you're THE MAN? Humility, not his strong suit and that is unfortunate.

Add an age restricted tournament to the WSOP, say all under 25's... Kleenex as major sponsor, perhaps?

Reality check, aisle 2.

'Perfect poker' is a funny oxymoron though.

a couple of friends of mine were playing in the $2/5 n/l cash game at caesar's after the $1500 event 1st day break (one of the friends had made the final table with adam), when adam came up behind a friend of his and declarde that the tourney was more or less over...that no one at the final table could play with him.

cocky for sure, but he did back it up.

I used to play with Adam in home games in ohio and he is one of the better players i have ever played with. He understands the game more then anyone I know but with that being said he is also the big [censored] you will ever meet.

Re: Adam Freidman...

Tripdad --
that was probably me he was talking to at the 2-5 game at Caesar's. Yeah, he's cocky, but he did back it up this time ... and then followed up with the win in the 5k event. He's a VERY good player. Sometimes his emotions get the better of him, but he can play cards.

I know that he plays on Pokerstars, but I did not know that he played on any other sites.

He plays Hold Em, stud, stud eight or better, omaha ... he's far from a one-trick pony.

BTW, Tripdad ... were you playing in the 2-5 NL game long?

Adam is a great player, no one can take that away from him, he is just a different character. Someone said to me he acts like he has never had his ass kicked before and I would say that is true.

I was sweating someone in the 5-10-25 PLO game, since I have no idea how to play and couldn't get anyone on my 75/150 list, and I saw him win a huge pot, but not sure if he is good or not, I would lean towards that he is pretty good though, he said he killed the no limit games in LA all 4x he has been out there.

Re: Adam Freidman...

He plays cash game as well as tournaments.
He was playing 30-60(?) stud at Caesar's Saturday night after winning the $1500 event.
He plays limit and no limit, as well as the mixed games at Bellagio.
He plays 10-20 NL at Bellagio or Commerce when he's out there (He had just come back from the Commerce to play at Caesar's).

I can't remeber his online name at 'Stars, but if you are really curious, I know that he took 3rd in the WCOOP Triple Shootout event this year . . .

And he's a douchebag (but darn fine player).
