$24,000 p.a. at CodePoker

They have just increased their 50% on winnings. You can now get up to 2,000 $ a month if you are a winning player.

Re: $24,000 p.a. at CodePoker

1) To qualify for the Gold Membership level 1, a minimum of 1500 raked hands must be played during the current month. The Gold Membership level 2 needs a minimum of 2500 raked hands. The Gold Membership level 3 requires a minimum of 4500 raked hands. The Gold Membership level 4 requires a minimum of 7500 raked hands and the Gold Membership level 5 requires a minimum of 10’000 raked hands. A raked hand is defined as a hand in which a rake of at least 25c is taken. Players' current number of raked hands is viewable at any time in the poker room.

2) The amount that CodePoker will credit on top of your profits is the Gold Bonus (hereinafter referred to as the "Gold Bonus".

3) The Gold Bonus level 1 is limited to a maximum of $300, level 2 to a maximum of $600, level 3 to a maximum of $1000, level 4 to a maximum of $1500 and level 5 to a maximum of $2000 (deposit bonus included).

This is essentially a 5x bonus with the caveat that if you run bad, you don't receive anything.

You can still get 35% rb if you run bad, but we all win here right? :-)

Even if it's for 2-3 month, it's good to have! I hope they keep it runing, but it should be difficult for Code...

It shouldn't hurt them too badly. I doubt most of the players are able to take advantage of that offer.

10k raked hands a month is a LOT of hands. LOT.

Re: $24,000 p.a. at CodePoker

doable since it is not contributed hands

someone explain why they do this??

Re: $24,000 p.a. at CodePoker

Most people donīt win that much. Getting people to play thousands of raked hands gives Codepoker more money than if they didnīt get any players at all to play (even though thereīs the risk of having to pay up big bonuses.

Re: $24,000 p.a. at CodePoker

Say 1/3 of players end up winning overall (which is an overstatement). They have to pay no bonus to the other 2/3, and can use the rake from ALL players to pay the matching bonus to the winners.

So how come the other rooms don't have such an offer ?

Each of the different poker rooms try different marketing techniques to attract players... this is an interesting promotion to attract winning players.

In addition to winning players I've had some players sign up who have big swings in their games and if they run good early they go for the bonus - if not they go to another Prima skin or play on another site and wait until next month.

My question is, as an affiliate... Does this bonus get deducted from MGR?

If so, then just a few of your players hitting it could cripple you for the month.

I've been wondering for awhile how that works.

We don't get put into the negative as affiliates. We get paid whether players hit the bonus or not.

Yes, but you need to play a certain number of raked hands to qualify for each level of the bonus.

1) 1500 hands - $300 max bonus
2) 2500 hands - $600
3) 4500 hands - $1,000
40 7500 hands - $1,500
5) 10,000 hands - $2,000

The rakeback deal is 10% in addition to the 50% match bonus on winnings or 35% if you lose, whichever is greater.

is it 10k hands altogether or 10k raked hands? how many hands at 100nl is 10k raked hands?

this seems like a good site to hit up for half the month.

It is raked hands. From the T & C: "A raked hand is defined as a hand in which a rake of at least 25c is taken. Players' current number of raked hands is viewable at any time in the poker room."

The Code Poker 50% bonus is straight from the site.

The extra a rakeback affiliate gets you is the 10% rakeback on the 50% bonus or the 35% rakeback, whichever is greater. Megarakeback and The Rakeback Store have this exact same offer.

Is the rakeback contributed rakeback like prima or the "everyone gets the same per hand" method?
